You can tell its cold, can see my breath, other than that clear with fun looking clouds to the east over the North Sea and clouds to the west over the Cairngorms, very cold, 3degrees

had a light flurry here at about 230pm, then sleet, sun is shinning brightly now though

first snow flurry of the winter, didnt last too long and didnt settle but its still the white stuff - Sunny now though

seen lying snow every year except for 2001 in november, it came the first week in december in 2001. Never anything to jump up and shout about but definately good. Seen lying snow a few times in october too, Hallo'ween 2003 was white up here...

What a day, Yesterday was something different, there was a noticable chill in the air yesterday but nothing like today. Early morning when i went to work it was cold, not terribly but it was cold none-the-less. During the afternoon it seemed to get colder and on the way home we had our first sleet shower at 450m. It was rain at the coast but not inland. Currently it is frosty and the car has small ice drops on it from the sleet earlier. Thought i'd have a whisky, i kind of toast to the forthcoming winter, full of hope that it will be one that surprises us all.... Anyone else with similar reports????

Quite windy, cloudy and freezing cold lol....not raining yet but i doubt its far away....
