  1. Im watching gladiators on sky1 lol so what im about to say isfrom that... YORKSHIREEEEE ARE YOU READYYYY? HUMBERSIDEEEEEEE ARE YOU READY, LINCOLNSHIREEEEEEE ARE YOU READY??? 3 ---- 2 ----- 1 ----- WHITE OUT! Look out to the North Sea, i shall say no more
  2. good 2cm here in hull, yet other end of the street only has 1cm! Was really drifting! All that from 1 tiny shower. More? yes please sir!
  3. Hey everyone, just want to clear things up for people so we can avoid "will it snow here" "and how much possible" all the time. I hope it helps  My take:
  4. As stated earlier, the flow has some what changed. The PRECIP (blob on the radar) just NEE of the Humber will not hit lincs, its heading directly west from east. Hull and east of east riding, NE lincs will be somewhat dry for the next few hours. With some more organised precipitation possibly hitting later. At the moment for people in hull and that area, dont be suprised to wake up to nothing!
  5. What did i tell ya i said lincs would get something soon. this is just the start for you guys in lincs People around humberside/hull will be dissapointed come tomorrow morning
  6. Nottingham, Yorkshire (East), and NE Lincs will see around 30cm's tonight!
  7. I had same problem, its ok though Its constant cloud cover causing temps to rise. When theres clear spells it will drop. When its cloudy with snow showers, it will drop in heavier precip. Its just the affect we are getting because of the north sea. Dont worry about it... Things looking good now, snowing in hull. Good luck mate i hope you get some snow
  8. Nothings going to settle tonight in hull.. i should of stayed in Louth Current temp here in cottingham is 1.4c a rise of 0.6c in 1 hour...
  9. They will carry on intensifying, around 8-9PM they will push back off shore with them building up. They will be a trough pushing west from the N sea later tonight, bringing showers onshore again, heavy and prolonged, giving significant accumulations.
  10. Light At the moment yes , but look at the development in the north sea just east off yorkshire coast line. There going to continue to back/build and keep pushing inland. Theres a lot of PVA around from now and during tonight/tomorrow. Expect a lot of intensification in the next hour or so.
  11. South East - Tonight and early hours Accumulations: 15-25cm East Anglia - Tonight and early hours Accumulations: 15-25cm Yorkshire (Humberside/Lincs/East Midlands - Tonight and early hours Accumulations: 15-25cm North Yorkshire/ North E England - Tonight and early hours Accumulations: 5-10cm My forecast/predictions As we can all see snow showers have started to push in off the north sea and pentrate well inland. The same will continue tonight, but with a wider scale of heavy/prolonged snowfall possible. A trough will push off the north sea hitting the east coast. Areas South from around North yorkshire right the way down to London could see some fairly heavy falls of snow bringing significent accumulations in areas, typically although not exclusively to east yorkshrie - lincs - and the SE. I expect the trough to hit these areas around 11-12PM tonight. With heavy snow showers merging together to give longer spells of snow from around about now. Rang home and they have had a small covering, at my relatives in hull (Cottingham) we have had lots of heavy snow showers, not amounting to much. I dont think they can stick yet because of ground temps. This will soon change. I made a map below to support my estimations.
  12. Currently staying over at relatives in kingston-upon-hull for the weekend, will be back at louth come tuesday. I know theres snow back at home, and we have just had some heavy snow here. Just wondering, should i have stayed at home ?? What's your thoughts guys.
