  1. I'm a tad confused what people were actually expecting today/tonight, it never looked like there was going to be anything severe unless im missing something So hardly a let down.
  2. Luckier than us lot in Surrey stop complaining
  3. It's close to Surrey so therefore inevitable that it will miss out(im sure the people there are delighted however)
  4. Looks like it, and meanwhile Surrey sits in grey cack with no promise of anything at all today, Surrey really is rubbish for interesting weather, even the eternal optimists on here must realise its game over for the SE. Good luck for people in the midlands/wales
  5. For the SW yes, for CS & SE close but no cigar tomorrow may be better tomorrow
  6. Think i'll stay up just to put myself through some pain, it will be a novelty to watch the storms from france hit the channel and veer west rather than east, heading up the dover straights like they normally do, end result still the same in Surrey though, Diddly squat(wasnt expecting owt tonight though so cant complain). Good luck to all in the SW
  7. Looking good for tomorrow(fingers crossed)
  8. The South East will no doubt be treated to a deluge of thunderstorms next week - as im in Scotland for the week
  9. suprised by large raindrops just now out of nowhere, does have a stormy feel to it this eveving, reminds me of may 1st 2006(if only it prodcued the same outcome)
  10. Very much doubt they have got it right in my opinion, sleety stuff at best
  11. Why on earth would you want 4 inches of rain, we've had 3, and still tidying up now(nothing serious thankfully)
  12. 65mm here now(just over 2.5 inches in old money) still getting sporadic thunder
  13. Absolutely torrential for the past 30mins here, plus several very close lightning strikes with Gunshot Thunder. Approx 40mm rainfall so far(the vast majority of that in last 30mins)
  14. Moderate amount of rain - yes. Something out of the ordinary - No. Unless its still developing (which looks unlikely) not much more to come either
