  1. Wet snow falling here, no chance of it settling but nice to see some of the white stuff again
  2. Not looking too bad on latest run for Friday down here, kind of pleased its my Xmas works do in London
  3. People over on UKWW don't seem too hopeful for tonight, unless youre in the extreme SE corner, only time will tell i guess. Don't think i'll stay up as if anything is going to crop up it'll be later on in the night. Cant sleep with the windows open either as i live opposite the main trainline into London Waterloo
  4. Was going to get in my car and find the storms today as it doesnt look like they are coming to me. But where to go? Looking a bit messy at the minute, might have to sit tight and watch the radar, been really poor in my area recently.
  5. Well looking at the latest BBC forecast no MCS for the SE, looks to be reliant on storms pushing West to East, on the upside at least they should arrive late evening/first part of the night, rather than sit up all night watching an MCS push up from Northern France only for it to take a sharp right turn as it enters the channel!
  6. Two completely different storm chances, nobody has stolen anything. Now all i've got to do is figure out how to get Tues off work, because it looks like i'll be up all night Monday in the hope of seeing something.
  7. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2011/06/24/weekend-weather-britain-set-for-hottest-days-of-the-year-thanks-to-spanish-plume-115875-23222751/
  8. Latest charts show the storms taking an oh to familiar track up the channel clipping Kent and pushing into Benelux, but of course there is time for this to change and its only one run............
  9. and like that...................its gone. No show i think
  10. so where's the forecast heavy rain for the SE coming from? Light rain all day here today, awful dull weather.
  11. Sun breaking through here already which is encouraging
  12. Not sure where they are getting 31C from Scorchio! How 'Spanish plume' could push temperatures to over 31C this weekend (and UK facing worst drought since 1976) Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1383772/Spanish-plume-push-temperatures-31C-weekend.html#ixzz1LVyVXzLh
  13. Would love the stuff over france/low countries to push up over southern england, but we all know its gone either slide down the channel or die out completely dont we
  14. that is exactly my worry, we get bbc london here and obviously theres a lot of focus in the capital for the weather tomorrow, chance of shower or storm is low apparently
  15. looks like some moderate showers at best, its weakening already and cant see anything thats going to pep it up when it reaches our shores(not overnight tonight anyway).
  16. fantastic storm here, garden flooded and car alarms going off, didnt expect this, and i thought i was lucky today with saints beating brighton
  17. It's only April, at least we can enjoy some nice bank holiday weather for a change in the SE, plenty of time later in the spring/summer for some juicy imports
  18. Threatening skies and a distant rumble of thunder here in Weybridge, Surrey.
  19. Cloud breaking up quickly now, temp has rose to 16c hopefully something will get going
  20. It's 11:30 in the morning, dont write it off just yet
  21. Bring back the Sun if this is what the showers are going to be like! Pointless unless you need the garden watering.
  22. quite incredible how the precipitation is showing around east anglian coast on the Meto 16:00 radar , never seen it quite as pronounced as that!
