    Heavy rain and a couple of distant rumbles here a short while ago, nothing special but it's something.

    Credit to the Met Office as I reckon they got this near spot on, people earlier scoffed at there forecast of scattered storms late evening but that is exactly what has happened, next time I'll never not get excited unless those guys are forecasting widespread severe weather

    I think that's the problem there appears to be no energy....things are kicking off but die almost immediately something is missing....Shame

    brief moderate rain shower just passed through...shame, most of the ingredients in place but mother nature not playing ball, until next time........................................

    Light rain in Guildford about as exciting as its going to get down here i reckon

    Cloud coming up from the continent is going to kill any potential i think.....time will tell but not very optimistic at present. Only if clear skies allow temperatures to rise and that is currently looking unlikely, latest forecasts reflecting this.

    I'm sure the media forecasters have access to more data than we do and they don't seem that interested this morning, what's the betting that theirs a few storms into the SW tonight and that the residual cloud kills he heat tomorrow inhibiting any chance of homegrown storms been there oh so many times in recent years

    Media not having any of it this morning, scattered thundery downpours at best according to latest BBC/ITV forecasts, anybody know what has changed?

    SE does look to miss out with the majority of storms forecast to the west of London and North of the M4 corridor

    Looks like in general any storms will be during daylight hours which is a shame, so much better watching them slowly move in at night, remember that fondly from late 80/90's but doesn't seem to happen so much nowadays

    Possibly too far East here in Surrey, not often you can say that! Wait and see i guess as a lot can(and probably will) change between now and tomorrow evening.

    I'm also confused. nowhere showing Rain for my area tomorrow yet others are talking about a Deluge, BBC Weather(not the most reliable i know) has a weather warning but show just light cloud all day Just wait and see what happens just like the good old days i guess.

    Small cell popped up near here with fairly frequent thunder....Now moving away SE by the looks of it.
