  1. Raindrops the size of £2 coins falling in Plymouth and ac cas trailing all the way from Lisbon to Devon earlier today according to our dear William on UKWW Meanwhile here in Surrey still Humid but very quiet.
  2. Looking forward to cooler/fresher conditions now, humidity is crazy. If this hot/humid spell can't provide any sparks it can do one.
  3. Dull & Humid here, doesn't look like the cloud will shift either so looks like drab weather for the rest of the day down here
  4. Thank you both for your replies.......Very much looks like keeping an eye on the models/keeping your fingers crossed.
  5. Anybody brave enough to hazard a guess for next Saturday for the Swindon area? Going to Royal International Air Tattoo(RIAT) at RAF fairford and slightly concerned it will be a bit soggy, shame it wasn't a few days earlier by the looks of it but I guess there is still time for things to change for the better.
  6. Other than the odd rumble and heavy rain nothing to get too excited about and not a lot to follow either
  7. Sferics in the channel off IOW dying out by the looks of it
  8. I don't think it will, cloud cover not breaking, at best we could get the junk that's coming out of France which will prob just be moderate rain by the time it gets here
  9. Anybody know any good vantage points in Kent? Obviously depends on the radar but am thinking somewhere like Capel-le-Ferne.
  10. Minging start to the day, will head down to the coast this evening if storms look likely
  11. Looking good for those people down in Kent/East Sussex this evening/overnight might have to jump in the car to see anything myself.
  12. Nudging further east on every run and if this continues then even Kent will miss out, was always going to be a close run thing in the first place, knowledgable posters on other sites seemingly ruling out anything at all for the UK
  13. Yet another Kent clipper at best, been woeful in these parts this year
  14. Electrical activity west of London. Has now died away, still bucketing down though
  15. Looks like it's going to go straight up the Dover straits, would be be very surprised if it makes landfall at all
  16. Probably the only time this summer we'll see storms tracking east to west out of France. Although to be fair it is going to forecast so far.
  17. Countryfile forecast didn't suggest anything of interest down here in the coming week
  18. Wake me up when something interesting happens down here, horrendous winter so far.
  19. Everything far too East, even for those in the SE corner by the looks of it although im sure theyll still get a distant light show from the impressive storms over France currently
  20. In my opinion nobody except those in the Extreme SE have much chance tonight. Dont understand this post, just because its feeling humid(which it is) doesnt increase the storm risk?
