Gonna be a shame if we lose this crazy heat with a whimper as seems to be the case down here. South East has been so poor so far this year for storms.

Really not meant to be in my neck of the woods, anything south of here has a more North Westerly steer than it did earlier in the day.....Game over for these parts i think

Here's hoping for a bit more of a chance down here tomorrow was close but no cigar today, good to see people further North getting some good storms over the past two days, is there more of a cap in place for the majority of our region as things seem limited and then go pop further North West?

Rumble of thunder here, building rapidly and moving Northwest

Not too bad here at the moment odd big gust is about it

Picked the wrong day to go to Duxford airshow as going tomorrow rather than today, looks a bit dodgy for the afternoon.
-
Just a breezy day here, nothing special

Have just travelled back from Bracknell which is a a winter wonderland with snow still falling, to Weybridge in Surrey which has lost its dusting from overnight and is raining, amazing difference in about 15 miies distance.

Kent Clipper at best, as long as we get rain though I'll be happy

Surrey desert to remain intact

Hot spell going out with a whimper here, would of been nice to go out with a bang but not to be, just wanted a bit of rain to be honest!
-
Looks like we'll remain dry down here until later in the weekend

Google Weather (please don’t laugh) has had us down for thundery showers Thursday late and these turning into full-fledged storms through the early morning on Friday.
Its been on there for a while, too.
So why is nobody mentioning the risk of potential storms on Thursday in central southern areas? Or is it okay if we all get washed away in the floods...
Euro 4 model(normally pretty reliable) showing nothing down here, storms further north later on in Linc's etc

What happened? Moderate rain with the odd rumble that resulted in slate grey skies killing any chance the next day? Because that is what is happening now
