Looks like tonight will remain very warm however I fear that debris from the decaying French stroms will only serve to ruin tomorrow!! Not much electrical activity likely imo.
Nothing forecast for tomorrow anyway, not like it was a loaded gun to be ruined by a decaying MCS
-
Possibility of a surprise for the SE overnight?
-
Considering the amount of precipitation that has broken out the sferics volume is very poor in comparison, a disappointing event so far and looks to be a bust already for my area, others further north may still get lucky however.
-
Couple of sferics just to the east of Worksop reported by a work colleague in the area.
-
Plenty of showers but just not going pop, something missing
-
Not going to happen is it,.............looks better further West

I agree totally, when you look at the radar the cloud base seems to split in two and go either side of east kent ?? what causes this.
You wouldn't want the current rain anyway nothing at all interesting about it and will inhibit further developments.
-
Far from a bust but that decaying MCS is very bad news

I'll be using much more colorful language if the storms do skip merrily round me.
Joking aside can't see you missing out tomorrow(far from it).

Doesn't appear to be much(if any) lightning anymore in cell moving out of London
Storm now decaying, game over for that one

Things just can't get going here, definitely some ingredients missing, best we can muster is a few light raindrops

Give it time, the cape is at its best after about 3pm, I wouldn't expect much before then, I'm thinking more like 4, give them a little time to build. I doubt anything for here this afternoon, but south coast and central should see something.
I'm wrong already cell fired near Brighton
-
Don't reckon the cap will be broken today.

Close but no cigar last night, decent enough light show from a short distance away, thought today was game on but I must have got it wrong as nothing much forecast
-
I was under the impression that today was the best chance down here, looking at the latest forecasts it would appear not, looks like things have changed.

Rumble of thunder out of nowhere, AC CAS overhead providing a few drops

Light rain, brill

16°C here so far from cold, cloud will also be clearing soon earlier than expected

Hate to say it but I agree with this any chance of a bright afternoon is slipping away now.. It's because of how much moisture there is in the air and how humid it is. Like giant soup bowl.
Storm chance has all but vanished now for all areas apart from the far west. High RES models can't agree on anything notable until next week maybe Monday.
Hopefully and this is a big hope, we see some sun again tomorrow as we stay dry and very humid. But I have a feeling that anything that fires over northern France will spoil our sunshine
Confident we'll get some late afternoon/evening sun but I fear your right about storms despite metro warnings
-
Looks like we'll miss out on any storms which is a shame. Will be happy enough if the sun makes a return though.

Looks like things will be to the east and north of here, can't buy any rain in this area
