    Totally agree Tamara....could see some surprises at weekend......Some SE ers could get something better than 1cm.....Models do not suggest much ppn at moment ...........Me in Canary wharf ill be happy to see some flurries....well i do fancy a Macdonalds

    Looks to be some snow flurries across the SE region over next few days but mainly dry...doubt we will be seeing moderate ppn.......Nice cold snap though

    Thames streamers in my ho cannot be modelled forecast from even 3/2 days even 24 hours out....Hold on lets see...Thomas 1 finger tonight on BBC News....On Friday we will see a Thames Streamer ...you can look at possible conditions all you like.....you aint going to be able to predict it this far out.....all your looking for at moment is unstable air, moisture, possible convection from Europe that MAY bring some ppn somewhere sometime...nothing else...Thames streamers 5 days out.....person who can predict that..plse text me Saturday's lottery numbers.

    So what are those synoptics im interested to learn?.....If the Met Office cant call a Thames streamer 1 day out after previous affairs (which they got dramatically wrong i might add) im interested how this thread can call Thames streamers type set up 5 days out?

    With all due respect how can anyone call a Thames streamer more than 2/3 hours before said event is beyond me......Theres a Director of forecasting position available at ECMWF...Check it out.

    Agreed think this week is the end of the line for cold with lying snow...would like a cold week some snow and then March could be high pressure dominated..........chilly...nothing wet which wil help those soaked from earlier floods............Winter is coming to an end lets hope we go out with some nice snowfall
