  1. Hi, I think youl get a few centimetres. Up here though I reckon there could be a good few inch before the nights up!
  2. WOOHOO! the blizzard has started! Finally some snow to west yorkshire! Snowing moderatly now, lovely white flakes... temperature slowly dropping with bags of precipitation to the south. tonight shud be fun!
  3. lol, dont take any notice of forecasts where you put your postcode in, there a waste of web space...
  4. Very very wishfull thinking but I just wonder if the precipitation around the irish sea might keep developeing and push right into northern england... Plus the showers around the east coast of yorkshire are developeing a bit and pushing west.. Before anyone says dont be stupid! I know this is extremly unlikly but funnier things have happened with the weather before... I remember once, the night time forecast was clear skies/dry just as I went to bed.. I woke up feeling quite optermistic only to whip the curtains open, to see 4" of snow and heavy snow still falling hard! lol
  5. sorry, but you cant expect me to go the whole night without an Everton Foz jibe can you? Suprisingly even he has predicted this (*shouts* in the short term! )
  6. According to the radar, heavy snow has broken out ahead of the front, but localised to snowdonia, anyone around that area to confirm this?...
  7. Looks like the snow will become heavier over west yorkshire on thursday night, due to the irish sea influence! I wouldnt be suprised if there was some locally deep amounts!
  8. lol, thats kind of you! Who knows, Everton Fox might sign you up as his aprentice...
  9. lol, its allready appearing on the radar and its bloody heavy! ovcoarse the midlands are guna get hammered tommorow!
  10. anyone know how to add a 'bitmap image' from paint? (ina post)...... cos im guna do my own version of the risk areas...
  11. Chill out, temps will drop before then, plus when the precipitation arives evaporative cooling will come into play.. youl atleast get a good covering and see blizzard conditions before it turns tro sleet..
  12. Im pretty sure ethat you'l get 3-6 cm's fella, maybe even a little more
  13. I was only reffering to yorkshire... Its obviouse that wales/midlands is most at risk...
  14. I think things are looking quite good for Yorkshire now. Even though nothings really changed since all my moning yesterday! Firstly, anysnow pushing up on thursday will instantly stick!.. not a question it wont... Lets say if we get patches of light/moderate dry snow on thursday evening/night, that could quite easily deposit 5-8 cm.... which aint bad in this day and age! Then on Saturday we are in a prime position for a lenghty spell of snow (still uncertanties surrounding this), but this is most likely to turn to sleet and rain later on.. For thursday west/south yorkshire most at risk, then on saturday the highest risk areas will probably be north/west yorkshire...
  15. It certainly looks like, the further north this feature travels, the less likelyhood of snow in the near future. But its a price worth paying for us northerners to get snowed in late thursday....
  16. move upto leeds for the week, il put ya up for £50 a night...
  17. http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rtavn904.png Looks like where guna get attacked from all sides saturday! Maybe my location aint too bad afterall?....
  18. Rather than haveing all the precipitation in wales/midlands, the north of ireland/irish sea is suppost to get a lot now... shawly comeing straight of the sea it would maintain itself and push into west yorkshire! Only 1 run, but heading in the right direction!
  19. showers definatly pushing inland now! http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/images...00702062000.gif http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/lib/template/spacer.gif
  20. http://www.trafficscotland.org/views/delay/Ord__5.jpg snow at low ground on the east coast of scotland PP, you may get sum just yet! I reckon them beefy showers in the north sea are guna start feeding in soon! Edit: thats helmsdale by the way...
  21. Ye but its quite a lot considering most of it came from one shower! And that reminds me, anyone got a link for the traffic scotland cams? thanx
  22. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/web...large/slot5.jpg Wooah! look what the last snowshower has done to Aviemore! Just shows you, if the temps below freezing, every single flake sticks! northern england (southern) might actually do allright on thursday as everyflake that falls will be very dry and will instantly stick....
