    My cousin is reporting several inches in the Harrogate area, but heavy sleet now so not sure how long it'll last now.

    Well, absolutely zero here. The Huddersfield snow shield has done its job again!

    If there is snow tonight, it'll probably be preceded by rain meaning it won't settle. I still think it will mainly fall as sleet anyway.

    Really odd, we had about 2cms before stopping at around 5pm. Bit gutted really. Still, I must admit to looking forward to some sunshine and warmer weather now - roll on Spring and Summer!

    Was snowing until about 11am this morning, since the n it been a constant quick heavy stream of rain. If any snow does fall tonight, it will not settle as the ground is now absolutely soaked through.

    Just looking at the radar on raintoday and it looks as though the heavier stuff is just about to knock on our door.

    Ah, cheers! It is settling but it looks more like tiny sleet. It has settled on the car, and on some of the rooftops around, but not on the path or road. Can't see the mast at all though, so it's maybe thicker than it looks.

    So is anyone going to stick their necks out and give a rough estimate of how much is going to fall on Sunday in the Huddersfield area? I'm supposed to be in school with 40 kids rehearsing a for a show, and I don't want to have to cancel it unless I have to!

    It's raining/sleeting so heavily outside and the ground is so wet, I just can't see it settling, even if it does snow. It'd be lovely but just think it'll be a load of bluster and rain!

    How much snow are we expecting on Tuesday? Trying to plan my week ahead and my dad seems to think we're in for a bit of a dumping! I wouldn't mind as normally I love the snow but I have so much to do this week, I could really do without any bother!! Lol!!

    I just can't see it. It might be 12hrs of something heavy, but the way the temps are rising and the rather obvious melt which seems to be going on, it's probably going to be a dumping of sleet. :-(
