    my garden would like that if I had any grass left. All i've got now is a muddy swamp with shoe prints full of water.

    gone very dark here and we've had a few rumbles of thunder, no rain yet. Edit: The rain has arrived!

    Just had a power cut....first of the year. Sun is shining here but still gusty.

    well that was a good nights sleep..........not! Woken up constantly by the huge gusts and then waiting for something to break outside. Glad to say no damage apart from a couple of branches down and the chicken run roof flapping about. Next doors greenhouse lost a few panels but we've come away from it relatively unscathed :-) Still windy here with plenty of gusts but nothing like last night/early hours, blue sky at the moment aswell :-)

    A big military helicopter (not a chinook) has just made a quick pit stop at Kent Police HQ. Don't know whats occuring but I'm guessing its flooding/weather related.

    Is that along Hart St? Picking my brother up from Heathrow in the morning and his flat is along there, think he may be kipping on my sofa for the night! Just hoping we've not too much rain to come tonight/tomorrow. Sorry miss read that, thought your daughter lived in Maidstone, brothers car park looks much the same.

    My neighbours gas meter box on the outside wall has just flown down the road. Certainly getting wild!

    Not much fun out delivering the mail today....had to keep chasing my trolley up the road. The Air Ambulance landed in a local park and thought it may of been due to the weather. I've battened down the chicken house so hopefully I won't have to go on a chook hunt. Its certainly getting worse and I'm not looking forward to tonight.

    Off out to Breakfast Club on the scooter soon, got a feeling it will be our last meet this year. I've done the 2 wheel thing in the snow and getting a bit old for that fun Is it a definite yet regarding snow/wintry showers this week?

    Wide awake now....does'nt help having lots of trees close by as I can hear the wind rushing though the leaves. Not looked outside yet, sounds too scary.

    getting pretty gusty out there now. Beginning to get a bit worried about it as we are hours away from the forecasted event. I have taken action though and bought the scooter indoors

    I have'nt sorted the garden out yet(thats tomorrows job), I'm just about to rearrange the front room as the scooter is coming in tomorrow night and i'll be walking to work Monday morning. Not quite sure how I'm going to protect the chicken house because the girls definitely are not roosting indoors with me.

    I did'nt hear/see a thing......guess it must've been too long a day for me and slept through it. Camping at the Hop Farm tonight so hoping we don't get another. Its feeling lovely and fresh out there this morning which is great as I'm just off to work

    Just had a quick shower here, lasted all of 10 seconds. The sky is looking very grey, still a really warm breeze blowing.
