Looks like we had a small amount of new snow overnight in Rochester, but nothing at all today. Is there some more on the way or is our main worry just the iced up snow sticking around for a while?

Snowing very heavily for the past 15 minutes or so in Rochester - probably a cm or two already (on top of yesterday evenings snow). Top of Bluebell Hill, so expect it will hit Maidstone too in the near future!

Blimey! As much as I'm loving this cold spell and the snow, I hope it's all gone away by the end of the month or I might not be able to go on holiday :blink:

Hello, if the snow we're having in Rochester is heading your way - leave your car where it is! Just had the scariest drive home from Maidstone! Went from nothing to cars being abandoned in 45 minutes!

Snow is falling and settling in Rochester - albeit a little but light. It is still covering and settling, though. More to come by the looks of the radar.

Re: TN9's pic of the snow dusting on Bluebell Hill - that really does prove how localised this is, I'm no more than half a mile away from the camera and have had no snow at all! Am keeping my fingers crossed for better snow during the week :-)
