Yep! The only way TN9 is getting to Sheerness is to dump the car and swim across the river!!

Good news. I work up near Rochester airport, so a day off for me I think
. Down here by the River Medway west of Maidstone, we have 6 inches so lord knows how much you must have on top of the downs.Mark
Stay indoors! Bluebell Hill is closed, so you won't be able to get here! It is mad but fantastic!

Morning everyone! Went to be at midnight - just got up and it is still snowing here in Rochester! I work in Maidstone but don't think I'll be going today as both Detling and Bluebell Hill are closed! Feel a bit of snowman building coming on :-)

Just looked out the window and we have a couple of inches of snow! The road is completely covered. Started here at 18.15 and os still snowing. I'm sure this wasn't forecast!

Yep, still snowing in Rochester too! Forecast on the BBC seems to say that we are coming to the end of it in Kent but tomorrow will be very icy!

Any idea if we'll get any significant snow in the Maidstone / Medway area? It's been snowing in Maidstone for hours but it's rubbish snow and not laying!

At work in Maidstone and although there is not much lying snow here - it has been snowing steadily for the last 30 minutes or so!

Morning Folks
Well looks like the snow really has come, I've not even got off first base with my travel plans as my flight from Limoges to Stansted has been cancelled, so I can't get back to see the snow. I'm thinking of driving back but there is no point if the M20 and the M2 are closed. Anybody any idea what the latest status is on those motorways..

M20 and M2 are both open and OK at the moment. although with more snow forecast this afternoon,no guarantee you'll be able to get back again!
I'm just off to work from Rochester to Maidstone - hope Bluebell Hill is OK!
