Fantastic. 9/10 intensity for that one. Can only happen when the wind slackens off

When are the showers due to last until?
Until this evening. You must have been hit overnight?

Bbc going for showers all day, fading this evening....

Hopefully broke because it can't compute so much heavy snow coming into the NE
-
-2 with heavy snow..
Can't complain. Seems like a glitch in the radar at 5.50

The showers look to be intensifying upon making landfall now instead of fizzling.
All positive changes. Looks like the region could do well from this... better late than never!

Let's be honest - while some many have a nice line headed for them, any objective look at that N Sea can only conclude that as it stands, it is really poor. Think back to E'lies and NE'lies where it was packed and it was very hard to avoid a good dumping. Or Scotland today. Hope it improves during the night, but, personal luck aside, that is not a good radar return.
Pretty sure you will get hit by lower part of this streamer....

It is but they disintegrate as they hit land in many areas. Its madness.

Radar looks crap for the south of the region now. Nothing for a couple of hours at least. Tonight could be another bust me thinks
Sending the snowless corridor down your way

There is a big cluster of showers in the north of the region that have really intensified over the last few hours, I think they are slowly drifting slowly south
I think you are right. Look the two charts. 2 hours apart. you can see significant southern movement. If that continues, should be about 3 hours ETA....but will it
