I'll be in the Newcastle-Durham areaon Sunday and keeping an eye on this feature. There is much embedded cold air at the surface and I suspect quite a few hours of snow would fall, of the wet variety before rapidly turning to rain, but it may arrive a bit later should the front be slower moving. I highly doubt 13 degrees will be recorded on Monday, there is colder air ready to attack from the NW, can see the warm sector being squeezed quickly.

    NW... cold and dry again

Significant shower activity reaching west to east in northern Scotland compared to before.  If they maintain their intensity then east coast could get something later.  🤔

Showers up there appears to be tracking more north to south now instead of north west to south east as they were earlier?

Ive been keeping an eye on this.  Last chance saloon

I’m hoping we’ll see something by about 10pm. We still have some snow lying from Sunday.

Really regretting putting my Christmas tree in the bay window! Usually my lamppost watching spot, didn’t expect to sit there much before January.

Could contain: Tree, Plant, Christmas Decorations, Festival, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Christmas Tree Ornaments

I would be getting the cutters out.  Just turn the cut side to the window, then when the showers are on rotate it so you can get down the side 🤣

  4. It looks good up north, but that could end up dissipating or intensifying before it gets here.  What is of note is shower activity seems to be developing behind the main clump, so there could be more showers later.  Who's going to get lucky!... Not been a flake here so my turn!  One things for sure... the snow will be lying even on the sand!
