  1. I hope your right Casper and I agree with you about trying to sleep last night, it was awful, upstairs was even hotter than downstairs and i seriously thought about sleeping in the living room. Here's hoping cooler conditions come our way, it 26ºC now and it's only 11.20am. Awful!
  2. Northwich is 25ºC at 10.30...I think it's gonna be even hotter than yesterday. Please send some of that rain from down south up here. Humidity is at 50%. :-( Crazy, I get most of my avatars from the animation factory, not sure of tha address but type that in on the google search bar and it's usually up at the top. However, the one I have at the moment is from net weathers new emoticons. Go into "View more emoticons" and you'll see it. ;-)
  3. Currently 27ºC here at least. With localised heat, I think it is much warmer. Cannot believe it is this hot at this time of day. We are always hottest around 2pm ish, so I am dreading what it's gonna be then. Got 2 fans on me and I am still burning up. :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire: :onfire:
  4. Northwich is very hot already. The fan in my office is making no impact on the heat whatsoever! Unbearable, wish I was off today and swimming about in a pool like Rachel did yesterday (see above post). Already 22ºC here with humidity at 57%. Wonder if we'll beat yesterdays top temps? Seriously hope not. Anyway, rain for tomorrow isn't it? :changes:
  5. Don't have my own thermometer, going to have to get one, but weather.co.uk says it's 29ºC, and it feels it too. It's still getting hotter as well. You'd think it would be cooling now, but nope, it's getting hotter and it's unbearable.
  6. I'm melting! My office is soooo hot, and there is hardly any breeze at all! I've got everything open. Weather.co.uk says it's 22ºC here, but the thermo I checked says it's 30. I think it's definately somewhere in the middle and rising! Tooooo hot! It's making me really
  7. careful Crazy, you've just put that in writing, he might hold you to it
  8. currently 22ºC here in Northwich, and 60% humidity. very muggy and unpleasant. Making me very sleepy. :-(
  9. currently a whopping 28 C here in Northwich according to the thermometer I checked, which was in the shade, but I take it it is a localised heat as weather.co.uk says it's 26 C. Really hot either way and not an ounce of breeze. Too hot for me. :x   :x
  10. currently 22 C in Northwich and it's only 11 am, gonna be a hot one today
  11. Well it's supposed to be 16 C here just now, but it feels more like 5 C, it's really cold, and the only thing stopping me from putting the radiator on is the fact that it's July, and tradition had instilled into me that you shouldn't need your heating on in July, but I tell you honestly, it's really cold here today!
  12. GLOOMY, GLOOMY AND THEN GLOOMY SOME MORE, THROWING IT DOWN WITH RAIN, AS IT HAS BEEN ALL DAY SO FAR, CLAMMY AT TIMES. TEMPERATURE SEEMS TO BE FLUCTUATING SOMEWHAT BETWEEN 13 AND 19
  13. 25ºC cold???? are you barmy? 23ºC here in Cheshire and really warm and clammy - yuck!
  14. Meso you shouldn't take the mickey, 'hatfever' is a very serious and often life threatening condition. I should know, I've had it. It's where your barnet will spontaneously combust lest you wear a woolley hat for at least 2 weeks solid. You cannot take it off, not even to wash your hair, but it causes a rash on your head and a mild fever due to the wool creating a lot of heat on your head, so you are prone to chills etc and you get flu like symptoms. Take the hat off too soon, and well, my friend, I'd hate to be the one cleaning up the mess. The rash and fever are the most common forms of side effects from this type of condition, hence it is so called, 'hatfever' :D :D :D :D :D
  15. Heavens have just opened here in Northwich, absolute down pour, sky black with a very large cumulonimbus cloud. Very interesting! No thunder though  Currently 16C

  18. Feels quite a bit cooler here today, beginning to wish I hadn't worn a skirt today. Here are the latest stats. Temp: 12 C Wind: 12mph Dew Point: 4 C Humidity: 58% Bbbbrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Chilly.
  19. oooh, groan...too hot!
  20. Yeah, you're totally right Meso. What we need is a good thunderstorm at night to cool everything down, I think even I could bear the heat a bit more then. I like a good thunderstorm too but my other half bless him, is terrified of them. My mum said that summers used to have hot days but then at night it would cool right down and rain. Any chance of us ever reverting back to that or has the climate changed too significantly? Also, what temp do you predict for throughout the night?
  21. Sorry to be probably the only one like this, but I'd be really happy about that. I hate the heat, absolutely hate it!!! (I have eczema and get too hot very easy)
  22. I hope we don't beat those temps. It's 25 C right now here and it's way too hot for me. If this is April, what's the mid summer gonna be like?
  23. CHESHIRE IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Current temp here is 23 C already and it's only 12.22pm. Gee Wizz I wish I was out in it, not sitting out in the office in front of this computer. Are we in for a very hot summer then?
