  1. You cheeky thing! How can edit other people's posts? ooh, you're a naughty young whippersnapper
  2. Would you like me to edit my post so it's not obvious?
  3. Thanks Glenn, is there anything you two don't know?
  4. compliments from the oracle, that is praise indeed
  5. OK, here goes the first time MSL has used proper meteorology stuff to predict current conditions. Now remember it's my first time, but based on my research current conditions are as follows. Wind: 13mph Temp: 10 C/50 F Dew Point: 1 C/33 F Relative Humidity: 53% How was that?
  6. Well here in Cheshire, it's a beautiful day, sun's shining and it's quite warm. Lovely cheery day. Lets hope it stays that way.
  7. cheshire's pretty cloudy at the minute and quite cool temperature wise. Meso, what temp is it exactly as you are just around the corner to me? Also, can anyone tell me where I could buy a good thermometer so I can see for myself and not have to keep bothering you lot?
  8. cool picture, but you are a barmy little scotty man
  9. Just got really wintry here in Little Ol' Cheshire, very dark, very windy, cold and throwing it down with rain. Is this the start of the bad weather forecast on ITV I wonder?
  10. Is that classed as quite strong in meteorology terms or is that quite mild? It certainly sounds strong when the gusts whooosh along outside. Is it just me or have we suffered worsening winds over the past few years? They seem to get stronger each year. Is it me or is there any evidence for it? :?
  11. Yes, isn't it Stephen, absolutely gorgeous. Winds picking up a bit now though don't you think? Have you got any idea what speeds the gusts are?
  12. It has been a pretty overcast day here so far, but the sun's coming out now. I was looking forward to some thunder
  13.   sun's out in Cheshire now...BAH!!!
  14. Heavy rain, not too cold but no idea of the exact temp. Looks like it could be brightening up though.
  15. Cor, blooming hec Ste, you weren't wrong. No thunder as yet...but goodness me have the heavens opened. The wind is blowing a right gale too. Ever so bizarre though, whilst this really black cloud is above us at present, I can see glorious bright blue on one edge., I wish you could see it actually. Where I am sat, one half of my window shows awful black cloud and the other half shows blue sky. It has gone really really cold though. The weather never ceases to amaze me, it brings such changes so fast. To have gone from blue skies and sunshine to that in a matter of minutes is mad.
  16. You wouldn't believe how dark is has gone, the cloud in the sky is literally black, and to be honest, looks quite menacing. Is it like that at your end?
  17. Yes, I can see that you are right. It is looking really wintry and dark at the front of where I work. I have had the windows open to get some air in but I am going to have to close them now as in the past few minutes the temperature has really dropped and wind is icy. How come temperatures are able to drop so rapidly as opposed to a gentle decline? What causes such sudden changes? :?
  18. Sun's out now in Cheshire & it's absolutely glorious at the moment. Think it's all about to change though as there are some very dark clouds looming. Can anyway tell me which direction to wind is blowing in and what the wind chill factor is as it feels quite warm until there is a gust of wind and then the wind feels really quite icy. Ta.
  19. Yep, I've had to put our heating on too. I'm in Cheshire, whereabouts are you? :?:
