The snow stopped falling finally about an hour ago, had a great time outside with the munchkins. Five inches with more in the drifts. A good day I'd say! :-)
I've got to say, it does make a change for us. We're always the ones to miss out. And thankfully the school bus is bringing my daughter home so I don't have to brave the M6 afterall, whoop!
Flakes getting smaller...
Haha treacherous I can imagine!! (five mins up the road from us)
Local schools now closing. Great. Got to get to Stoke then back up to Nantwich... knew I should have kept them off today!!!
Beautiful big fat flakes constantly falling, moderate to heavy. Three inches on the patio table. Got to go pick up the eldest from school in Stoke so got to brave the M6, eeeek! :-(
We're a fair way under the band of precip here in Weston near Crewe, but it's just light to fair, with small flakes. I couldn't even class it as moderate. It was heavier in Nantwich about five miles North when I went on the school run an hour ago.
Afternoon all! Three degrees and a little slush on the ground. That'll spell disaster for the school run should it freeze this evening. Feeling positively balmy out there today.
Oh the joys of living in the Cheshire Plains...
