    Morning all. Still -3.5 here, blimmin cold. After some umming and ahhing we've decided to head up to the parents by Mcr Airport this evening and head back tomorrow afternoon... if we don't see any white stuff at some stage either here or there then I'll be amazed... well probably not actually!     Lol just watched the bbc weather and found it extremely amusing watching the snow on the chart come down across the north west and then it was like the parting of the waves around the Cheshire snow-shield!!

    Brrrr -1c and falling... I can't bear the thought of heavy rain tomorrow as the beeb are forecasting it, the children will be devastated!

    Feeling a tad nippy out there at 1c, and some nice winter sunshine to be had. Children are going crazy at the prospect of some snow over the next couple of days but we don't have the best of track records here so we shall see...

    Morning all. So glad some of us North Westeners are seeing some snow. We've a hard frost this morning, no snow yet. Just checked the beeb weather charts and the depressing thing is that it says us here in Nantwich Cheshire will have heavy rain tomorrow lol!! Fingers crossed that changes. Have a lovely Friday

    Woahhh hasn't it gone cold! Bitter out there tonight compared to this morning, that wind is so brrr. We were lucky enough to have half a dozen flakes on top of the car half an hour ago, nice fat ones too. My parents near Manchester Airport have had a dusting. That's about it for our area for now!

    Good morning all. Feeling quite mild out there this morning even though the temp is flirting between 1 and 2C. No frost, no ice. Nice and sunny though

    Morning all Well checking the beeb weather for our area and Manchester, and the prospect is fairly pants leading through to the weekend snow-wise. I'm hoping that changes soon, it'll be so nice to be finishing the Christmas shopping in a festive atmosphere for once, rather than in heavy winds and mild mush.

    Keeping everything crossed for us here in Cheshire, I can't decide whether to stay here or go to my parents in Manchester.. Manchester is probably the most likely of the two to see anything I guess

    Two storms just passed through Nantwich, bit of hail and rain with it. Think we were more on the edge of it tbh. Roughly one c2c strike per min.

    Fascinating stuff guys! I seem to have lost the live feed at the minute but am sure it'll be back soon.. unless it's just me!! Stay safe.. Edited to add: scrap that, it's back online. Darn I wish I could stay up to watch things unfold but I don't think my little boy would be too happy if I was falling asleep at his 2nd birthday party tomorrow, lol!! Good luck!
