  1. Just had a hailstorm here, largest hail I've seen in a very long time, very loud on the conservatory roof.
  2. Thanks for these tutorials Adi, they're very helpful as you can point people to these threads. I'm sure a moderator will move it into the annoucements section for everybody to see.
  3. I thought it was heading towards Leicester city as it went to the north of me and I'm SW of Leicester city. Looks to be getting a little more active too. Enjoy it.
  4. Thunderstorm just passing north of me with a fair few rumbles of thunder and CG lightning.
  5. Have you tried deleting all the board cookies from the main forum page: at the bottom right "Delete cookies by this board" Then try logging in again and then click "Mark all posts as read"
  6. Did you tick Sweep Cookies and untick IE Tracking Cookie Shield, also make sure you are logged in to Net-weather before you do the sweep and don't close the Internet Explorer window which is logged into Net-weather.
  7. If you click on the tick next to all of the Cookies it found one of them will say username@net-weather.co[1] and that's the one you want to untick.
  8. Ok, this might take a while: Open Spy Sweeper Go to Options on the left Sweep Options at the top Make sure "Sweep Cookies" is ticked Now go to Shields on the left Internet Explorer at the top Untick "IE Tracking Cookie Shield" Now go to Sweep Now Press Start Wait for it to finish and you'll be presented with the Remove page On this page make sure you untick "Co Cookie" (Make sure you do this) Now click Next Now click Options on the left Click on "Always Keep" at the top Tick "Co Cookie" You can now re-enable the IE Cookie Shield Now see whether it keeps you logged in.
  9. Ok, back to the drawing board. I'll be back to you.
  10. Try this for me please: Open Spy Sweeper Click on "Options" on the left Click on "Sweep Options" at the top Now Untick "Sweep Cookies" Now go into Internet Explorer Tools >> Internet Options Delete Cookies Delete Files Clear History Now log-in again, close Internet Explorer, re-open Internet Explorer and go to net-weather again. Does it stay logged in?
  11. It's definately Spy Sweeper causing it. I've just installed Spy Sweeper and it's deleting the net-weather.co.uk cookie, I'll let you know if I find a way around it.
  12. Sounds like you're excited Steve. I wish you all the best of luck with the storms, can't wait to see some of your photos/videos and most of all, stay safe. Good luck.
  13. Paul; did you ever set up the Cookie settings in the ACP, I know they're not compulsary, but it's just an idea as I know of a couple of people who have set this information up, it working for a couple of months and then suddenly stopping, this was resolved by removing all the information from the cookie settings. I didn't bother putting any information in the cookie setting on my board and people still stay logged in, so I'm not 100% sure what the idea of the cookie settings are.
  14. That's a point actually, you could try logging in with the "Remember Me" option unticked, then go to the main page and click "Delete all cookies set by board" and then try logging in again with the "Remember Me" option ticked. Failing that maybe Paul can reset your password and salt from the ACP?
  15. Temperature: 9c Hudmity: 95% Pressure: 1016mb Overcast with light rain
  16. Maybe a moderator could merge this with yesterdays thread? You could post it in Wednesdays and put a note saying that it was for the Tuesday thread. It's all you late people.
  17. Yeah, it's certainly an odd one as the only reasons I thought could be causing it aren't actually it. If you remove your Cookies/History/Temporary Internet files... Tools >> Internet Options >> Delete Cookies >> Delete Files >> Clear History. You can also go to http://www.net-weather.co.uk/forum/index.php and down at the bottom right it says "Delete all cookies set by this board" if you click that it will remove all the temporary files the board has set. Do this and then try logging back in again.
  18. Are you accessing the website by http://www.net-weather.co.uk or http://www.net-weather.com ? Also, if you're using Windows XP, in Internet Explorer (If you're using it) go to Tools >> Internet Options >> Privacy and then set the vertical slider to Low. This will stop it from blocking cookies which are required to keep you logged in on the forum.
