Yeah its much the same here, some trees still green but others have either got brown dead leaves or the dead leaves have already fallen so branches are half bare...

Yes I agree the financial situation for many over winter is not looking good and this government really couldn’t give a monkeys

I agree, I fear we are set for a wet and windy Autumn and Winter…just about the worst weather going.…but hopefully we do get a bit of cold weather at some point with snow.

You said much better for sleeping and working and I said it hasn't been a problem, so bit odd your cheer leading for something that hasn't been an issue anyway If the heats an issue then i'd recommend changing job edited for missing word

Fair enough, I'm luckier these days that I only have to go into the office once a week so its not so bad anymore

Commuting in the dark really is the pits, not one person I have ever met finds it enjoyable

Down in Portsmouth for the weekend, and it’s been truly glorious weather. Sat by water drinking a beer, it’s like being in Greece rather than the UK

Local station at Staverton has hit 30C, didnt feel that high when i went for my lunchtime stroll, but gorgeous none the less

Lovely Topped out at 28C here at work, going to be a hot 5 a-side game of football later...

Its not been the year for sitting out late in the evening in just a t-shirt thats for sure

A much nicer start to the day than I expected here in Longlevens, even managed to get a wash done and out on the line before starting work. It does feel a lot more fresher though than the last couple of days, even in the sunshine.

Just about managed to get home at 8.20pm after 5 aside football this week without turning on the car lights, aided by the clear evening. I suspect next week the lights will have to come on and this will mark the end of high summer in my mind - although to be fair the last week to 10 days has already felt like late summer/early autumn around here. I dont mind the later sun rises but it still feels too early for the earlier sunsets, If I were in charge we would definitely be on GMT +2 in summer and GMT +1 in winter
