  1. Sunny up until late mid morning, but just had a band of squally rain push through and looking at the radar, not long to wait for the second...
  2. A promising dry slot at the moment so hopefully the washing on the line can get mostly dry before the showers appear...
  3. Pretty decent morning but a pretty vile afternoon...but still rather get the rain now than in summer (if only it were that easy haha)
  4. A much better day than expected so far, managed to dodge the showers just about, and so have bright and warm sunshine
  5. Appallingly inaccurate forecast from the BBC this morning, rain arrived around 12.30pm and has stuck over us all afternoon, utterly miserable.
  6. Lots of sun streaming in to the garden at the moment and feeling very pleasant in it...distinctly chilly in the shade though
  7. The gusty wind is causing carnage as its bin day, looks like a hurricane has swept through town On the plus side it is sunny and very mild
  8. Finally got to see some falling snow after all the cold rain of the past couple of days, the car was just starting to cover but looks like the precip is about to run out so no lying snow from this spell.
  9. That week in December worked out really well for us, so this spell was always going to be up against it tbh, and as expected, its just cold rain here...
  10. Snow has bypassed us here, not even a dusting lol
  11. Nowt in Gloucester, ground looks barely damp either so precip must have missed us altogether. You lucky folks that got the snow this time around, enjoy...
  12. Return of the grey this morning and feeling chilly with it... Not expecting much out of the potential upcoming colder spell to be honest, bar the joys of cold rain...if I was at 150m+ elevation I might be more inspired though...
  13. A pretty good winter overall. We had the cold spell in December which gave us 5-6 inches of snow which lay on the ground for 8 days - fairly rare for these parts, and then bar a short wet spell, its been dry with a lot of very useable weather for getting out and about in. But best of all we have avoided any rubbish windstorms which are not enjoyable in the slightest.
  14. Grey cloudy day, and a little burst of drizzle when i popped out at lunchtime, much chillier feel after the last few days of sunshine
  15. Will be even better when we move back over to BST
  16. Fab frosty sunny morning, which gave way to a pleasantly warm afternoon and allowed me to do a bit of light gardening at lunchtime in my break. More please
  17. 5.20pm and its still light outside, loving the ever extending daylight evenings especially on a clear day like today.
