    I hope so!! I’m feeling positive but how many times have I felt like that and been disappointed lol. The humidity is really bad and I have had a bad head all day so that normally a good sign! What time are storms supposed to kick off round here?

    Well I arrived in London last night for my 3 night stay in Heathrow. Fingers crossed for later on. Very humid here. Sky is looking pretty good imho and what a view I will have if anything kicks off! Also not a bad view of the airport happenings so I’m a happy bunny atm

    Hahaha yeah am expecting that there will be the biggest storm Wrexham has ever had when I’m sitting in a blue sky London banging my head off the nearest wall haha. Seriously though, am I in the best place to be able to see something this coming weekend? Pleeeeease

    Well everyone please don’t blame me if this weekend/bank holiday doesn’t come to anything cos I have just booked 3 nights in a hotel in London Heathrow from Friday night till Monday. Travelling all the way from sunny Wrexham to try my luck on seeing a decent storm!! Am sick of the lack of anything here but knowing my luck it’ll change to dry weather right through lol

    View from my back garden in Wrexham from west to east. Sky is black ink dark to the east and gone noticeably cooler and windier the last couple of hours. Nothing showing on radar though!

    Just had 2 fairly long deep rumbles of thunder here. Spitting of rain. Sky looks very convective and looming black in the distance. Not seen any lightning. Come on!!

    Very sultry feeling to the atmosphere even though there has been a breeze. Blue skies disappearing to be replaced by this. What's our chances for something tonight and tomorrow everyone?

    Well I gave up and went to bed but got woken up early hours of the morning by 2 of the most almighty bangs of thunder which shook the lodge I'm staying in in Cottingham. Must've been the storm that buggered off into the North Sea as nothing else happened after. Frightened the bejeebers out of me and my husband haha. Just had a little storm with about 10 rumbles of thunder, but saw no lightning. Rain hammered for about 10 mins but all quiet again now.

    Yeah Wrexham isn't the best. Had a whopper a couple of years ago with fab lightning, but been pretty scarce apart from that. Had some crackers in the 90's. Every time I get my hopes up I get let down. The last ace one was in Majorca and I waited so long for it I fell asleep and missed half of it haha

    Aah yes Acrefair. I have a lot of family in Leeds and castleford so have links with Yorkshire. I always thought up here was good for the storms sovwas hopeful, but my good old jinxing behaviour soon sorted that out lol

    It's really trying soooooo hard but failing to deliver. There has been plenty of Ac Cas and a cell tried to form but just left a heavy shower. I'm so keeping fingers crossed. What's the more experienced weather bods think of this sky round here for potential?
