    Sitting in the garden now, constantly lit up with strobe lightning. It’s so humid it’s like sitting in a pressure cooker. Not a breath of wind nor a sound of thunder. Eerie.

    This storm is unreal. Lightning just literally every second for about an hour now. Needs to come closer so I can hear the thunder better though.

    Wow some some booming thunder now but not seen any lightning. Had about 20 rumbles now.

    Yeah it seems to have perked up round Oswestry. Skies black in the distance and just heard first boom of thunder

    Wow can’t wait!!! Hope this is just the starter as well. Skies are very milky here now with a lot of ac cas around. Humidity is unbearable

    Yeah there’s some nice clouds about so I’m hoping and praying lol. It’s very very hot and humid. Almost unbearable. I’m in Wrexham and was right on the edge of “severe zone” when I looked this morning. Fingers crossed

    Dark moody skies this morning. Been raining and not long heard my first rumble of distant thunder. It’s bin day today though and I keep jumping up only to realise it’s the flamin bin wagon

    My back garden looks to the north west towards north wales coast area (Rhyl is about 30 miles from us). Could this be the back end of the storm over the coast area that then stretches towards the IOM? I can’t see any lightning from it but this is seriously impressive if it is said cloud!!
