The stuff over south wales has lost intensity big time, don’t see a whole lot coming from that for the west mids
Hope I’m wrong

Don’t see much accumulating from this today? Very light/ patchy for the most part and not really settling
-
Have to laugh at the rapid loss of intensity just as it hits the West Midlands

Just woke up and within 5 minutes it’s snowing. Great timing

Radar looks uninspiring to say the least

Your whole post is full of contradictions and you are basing your assumptions from a completely biased personnel point of view! You are amongst many on here that think the next few days will be 'a walk in the park' time will tell if that is true, i very much doubt this outcome unfortunately!
What exactly are you frightened of
its 2 days of very hot weather for goodness sake

This band has some real intensity to it, typical it’s rain

You’ve got to say the metoffice warnings look to be bang on at the moment
-
Amber warnings for 10-20cm over the NE now.
nothing further south

Even though this band has missed us, still got a nice little half covering from the light stuff yesterday evening. It was never anything more than light snow for an hour or 2 tbh.
But just shows that you don’t really need much of an ‘event’ to give a decent covering if the conditions are right, altitude helps too of course.

Original metoffice warnings make sense now, completely missing most of us

Most of this band looks to be heading for Shropshire/Wales IMO
