Are there any of you very knowledgeable met people out there who are able to answer this puzzle? I have a friend who lives in Luxemburg. She has noticed, this past summer, that during certain conditions, she has noticed rainbows - er, overhead? We are used to seeing them in the distance and, when we do, try to think where we put the spade to dig for the.......never mind. This is what she told me recently...... 'Guess what I have seen here - not once, but twice in the last month? A rainbow . . . straight up. Not on the side, firmly anchored to a beer store, but really directly overhead. My 96 yr old gran and my weatherman father have never seen such a thing. Me neither and I find it too freaky. I want my rainbows back where they belong!!!' Any ideas, guys? Andy
