  1. Sorry - Reading about him on the S4/C weather site he hasn't got any qualifications in Geography or any related weather subject, instead he's got a degree in Communications and Broadcasting - Nothing wrong with that but you would from someone that forecasts in a Newspaper - He's giving out wrong information to people!
  2. Looking quite good for snow showers here, the worst scenario would be if it missed us by a couple of miles which I've seen happening quite often with these set-ups! Fingers Crossed!! Currently - 3.5C Reading about him on the S4/C weather site he hasn't got any qualifications in Geography or any related weather subject, instead he's got a degree in Communications and Broadcasting - Nothing wrong with that but you would except who knows more about the weather to forecast in a Newspaper - He's giving out wrong information to people!
  3. Weather Online - Snow is back on the cards for this weekend. Mostly around the coasts, I suspect Wales could take quite a hit, some of that snow feed into the Midlands. eastern coasts of England are in the firing line too. It will be fairly localised, but I would not be surprised to see 5-10cm in some places.
  4. Really bad weather here in Deiniolen, Gwynedd although snow easing snow has been falling since around 5am this morning with 15cm in my back garden. My High School has been closed today also the village school and local one's too. Nice seeing Anglesey white for a change with many schools there reported that they have to close around midday.
  5. Not leaving North Wales out - by tomorrow afternoon we cloud also see large amount of Snow - Snowdonia Met Office Forecast - A cloudy, cold and windy start with some outbreaks of sleet and snow. Sleet and snow likely to become heavier and persistent at times through the day with significant accumulations expected, especially over higher ground.
  6. OMG!! The worst rain I've seen for a while!! Torrential Rain and I mean torrential rain, looked like Mosoon Rainfall, adding large amount to the 60mm of rain that have fallen since Monday, otherwise till now 18mm of rain has fallen since midnight last night - The only odd thing is that there is no wind, I could also see some Anvils towards the Irish Sea an hour ago - also report of flooding in local area. Nasty.......
  7. An Inch of Rain yet again today with some flooding - not nice at all, wind gusting 45mph with temperature of 16C
  8. Had quite a torrential downpour at around 8:30pm then things cleared with now clear skies and gusty winds - now Gusting 52mph - Temperature 15C, Pressure 1014mb and today's rainfall total is 16mm.....Will I see my first thunderyshower of the summer tomorrow?
  9. Wind is gusting 57mph, moderate rain after heavy rain overnight - Not nice at all - Rain Gauge now shows 27mm of rain has fallen since midnight - Rain should ease soon with better conditions behind
  10. Had some nice convection yesterday, clouds shooted up by mid-morning - then by early-afternoon we had torrential rain, gusty winds and was hoping for our 1st thunderstorm of the year but we got nothing...Today perhaps? I've got some pictures from yesterday's showers / Cumulonimbus / Mammatus
  11. Awful weather conditions here - Heavy Drizzle, winds gusting 40mph, only 17.4C, Humidity 89% - I hate this weather and I could say that this summer has been the worst summer since I was born. Anyone fancy a one-way flight with me to Spain!?
  12. Started off with Fog and Heavy Rain then cleared then an hour of heavy drizzle this afternoon, and now some brighter skies coming in from the North - Some blue skies appearing so we could see some clear spells for tonights Meteor Shower. Temperature now 18C with the pressure at 1018mb
  13. Not feeling good at all - thought it was food poisoning at first but more like a flu now - Runny nose, being sick, coughing, sneezing, high temperature - Not nice at all!! Really heavy rain here now although radar not looking too bad, looking as if the rain will clear in the next hour, then maybe some heavy showers.....
  14. Horrible weather with heavy rain, gusty winds, 14C, 1002mb - And i'm in bed suffering Swine Flu!!
  15. Torrential downpour here, no electrics - Dissapointed again, we must have a thunderstorm this YEAR!
  16. All of those Thunderstorms on 2 days last week missed me - the seemed to stop behind the mountains and travel North Eastwards! I hated that - Although Snowdonia is the most beautiful place in the UK, they can be annoying when storms occur as you can't see anything from the South due to them blocking the view and they also kill storms and just leave us with heavy rain!
  17. Thanks! Although gone quiet now - North West Wales is a good breeding ground with some good convection but it seems that everywhere else enjoys the storms - EG Last week thunderstorms formed here and then further East and North seemed to enjoy them =)
  18. Heavy and Torrential passing through, quite windy too with some dark clouds towards the South West - Towring Cumulus but nothing more - plenty of showers coming in from the Irish Sea to keep me amused! Could even have thunder mixed in with these showers, hope so! Temperature now - 17C / 72% Humidity / 3mm of Rain since Midnight
  19. Yet again Thunderstorms missed us by a couple of miles, but we heard some rumbles and there were reports of torrential rain and lightning at our nearest village to the East, Bethesda - Still feeling muggy and we could see some storms tomorrow afternoon
  20. We must have a storm shield or something here - No thunderstorms at all apart from a few far rumbles - It must be the mountains. Still hot and humid - still hoping for a storm tomorrow, as NetWeather.tv say 75%...more like 1%
  21. Another Thunder heard - looking forward now to what may be the first real storm of 2009!!
  22. Fantastic Convection and hoping for a storm coming in from the South - Temperatures is 22.7C with Humidity of 66% - 2nd Webcam = Snowdon 1st Webcam = Snowdonia - Look at that storm in the Right -1st Rumble Heard Now
  23. No storms at all here today - Feeling muggy with temperatures of 20C - Not really moaning as next week lokks even better for us with thunderstorms Cape 1000+ a Li Index -4 so not too bad....!
  24. Cumulonimbus clouds now building - warm 21.5C after a Max of 23.1C today
