  1. Looking better for me now looking at the Snow Risk, Prep Type hope so! Temperatures now a very cold -1.4 with cloud cover!
  2. 3rd Day off School today due to snow and Ice - haven't had a flake since yesterday afternoon though - Temperatures went up 1.5C earlier but now lower at 0.4C - still around 12cm of snow lying in the back garden - Gwynedd County Council has apparently ran out of grit so that must be a problem. For tonight and tomorrow don't really know if it will snow but hope so, don't really want to go back to school until next week. Clouds coming in now from Snowdon's direction.   3. 6inch of Snow now in the Garden - 9inch drift - And Still Snowing.......and still the media Says Gwynedd County and North West Wales hasn't been hit so hard!

  5. 12cm of snow in the Garden where drifting has occurred 24cm here at it deepest - Worst snow since quite a lot - 0C with wind gusting 43mph so feels like -9C outside - Buses won't even get to my villlage - May see more snow later on and even more on Thursday and Friday......
  6. At 207m - 4inch of Snow / 10cm here - Temperature -1C and has been snowing since late last night had a restbite before lunch then Heavy Snow since around 3pm even Anglesey seems to have plenty of snow.

  11. Yeah, it does look good for next weekend too - hope not too bad due to the fact i'm going to a Brass competition at the Guild Hall in Preston on Sunday!
  12. http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/loutdoor/mount.../snowdonia.html Snowdonia also looking good - Although was better forecast before the update - To be honest I think there's a bit too much hype for Eastern England as I think from Monday Night onwards from the 'NetWeather Snow Charts' it seems that the Snow will mostly be of rain. Wales looks good and also South Western England also looks good from what I see.... North Wales looks good 6am Monday Morning - Looking good for Wales here too..

  16. Not working for me either - I've tried Firefox and IE - It says Page Load Error on Firefox.
  17. After a frosty start - rain made it way by lunchtime falling as Heavy Sleet at first until turn into Rain - Heavy Snow above 500m - Minimum this morning of -0.2C with a Maximum around 1pm of 5.4C - Currently 4.9C with wind speeds gusting up to 62mph.
  18. Not to take over your thread or anything but this picture from yesterday shows how much a couple of meters make a different - Taken from around 200m above sea level - Great Piccies too...
  19. Here we go - Light going down! Temperature 6C with wind gusting 89mph - Could see a few thunderstorms later too - Pressure down again 985mb
  20. Huge drop in Pressure from 998mb to 989mb here - temperatures of 6.3C - and wind gusting now at a Max of 86mph!! I'll post links for videos later on..
  21. Heavy Rain and Fog this morning and by the time I arrived at School - the sun was out. But cumulonimbus clouds were soon making an appearance with torrential rain and hail at luchtime and been much the same for the rest of the day we even had wet snow flakes when coming home from school - with the temps around 3C - Colder tonight with frost which could well be a problem tomorrow with all the rain of today. Also some flooding was reported locally. Temperature outside now 3.2C
  22. Mildest Day of the Year so far = 10.7C this morning, and also the windiest with winds gusting to 70mph here - 7mm of rain recorded since midnight but excepting much heavier rainfall by this evening, Metoffice has given Gwynedd a warning for up to 70mm of rain tonight!
