Yes but that's when the cliques begin to form! Having said that, the Model Discucssion has become one major Southern England clique. People talking about wobbles in the models and the GFS being too progressive if the snow risk dares to approach even Northern England.

Thanks for that reply I was maybe being a little harsh on their forecast eh :lol: Then again they did take quite a while to include us in the risk area. Anyways, let's hope we get more this afternoon and tonight

Quite a few of us here seem to be from the Glasgow and South Lanarkshire area and I must say the forecasting from the MET for here has been extremely poor! Awoke to a few cms this morning and had heavy snow showers on and off all day. Last night the MET Office summary for Glasgow was the possibilty of a slight snow flurry! Has it just been difficult to predict how far inland the snow would reach? And someone mentioned the Heather the Weather forecast earlier - is inland Western/Central Scotland to expect more snow tonight? From what I've been reading here it looks quite likely Many thanks in advance and apologies for only popping in and out but I'm rather busy at the moment. Cheers guys!

My God, Eastern England looks like it's in for an absolute pasting!! Lucky gits :lol: The bulk of Western Scotland looks like missing out. Same old story, when it's raining us folk in the West get soaked and when it snows it's the Eastern side that gets it all. I'm moving house!

Really? I must say I'm surprised although pleasantly so! Not expecting anything really aside from a few possible flurries.

I don't want to fill the board up with will it snow questions but was hoping someone could tell me what the chances are of snow over the weekend in the Glasgow area? We haven't had any snow this cold spell and it would be nice if some of that weather reached us up here! Thanks in advance
