  1. Last night snowplough this wee system that hitting us at mo was supposed to sink South and hit you guys. As you can tell at minute I have my doubts it hittin the border regions let alone Eire. It really is a weak afair!
  2. lol mac same here but nice seeing snow fall for a change if it lays or not
  3. Gotta remember as well after all this disappointment local Northern Girl Cecilia got all excited when mentioning a severe snow event for Northern Ireland Sat night into Sunday! Could be interesting! Stay tuned to the models
  4. Guys when the light precip hits you it is snow . I actually think the west is going to do the best again. Donegal and Londonderry. Heavy precip further West again? Can't see it hittin East. Check it out.
  5. Hey Ronan just seen your pics told you u might get a covering. Nice pics. Ronan the snow magnet from the North scores again
  6. Johnny your not missin much - Been continious light snow since 8pm but no chance of settling. We watched match with blinds open 1 eye on the tv and 1 eye on the lampost  As watcher said earlier look out for the heavier precip behind this band!
  7. yeo Everton win and snow gettin heavier - Can't get better than that I am still laughing at the outage ITV got just before Everton scored some heads chopped tomorrow over that shambles OT I know but funny all the same.
  8. Quick post at half-time of foozball. Been snowin lightly here since 8pm so bodes well when the precip hits the rest of you guys since I at sea level.
  9. Yea very light indeed have to watch that heavier stuff behind. Some stronger precip seems to be headin into derry your way might see a covering. Local weather seemed keen on some sort of event here Sat night into Sunday one to keep an eye on.
  10. Looks pretty weak the main band but seems to be more orgainsed band getting its act together just behind it with heavier precip lookin at radar. All eyes on radar tonight after the match
  11. Yes I headin off as well but lookin at the charts tonight game on for Wednesday night into Thursday and Friday when this Northerly hits our shores. Good week ahead!
  12. I knew you guys inland would see some snow - Antrim always was one of the favoured locations.
  13. Heavy stuff heading you way mate. The snow magnet lol. Latest radar. Had to use imageshack couldnt upload on netweather for some reason! http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1...11111111ko3.png
  14. LOL want me to post radar pic up or you have netweather radar - give me your postcode if you don't have it and I will post latest radar pic Ronan
  15. Have to say though the MET OFFICE called it well on the east coast even at lunchtime forecasting sleet and rain for the evening! Will turn back to snow in a few hours though once this mild sector buggers off
  16. Thats crazy mountain - your 20 miles from me and I gettin sleet and and your gettin snow!
  17. Ronan will be up tomorrow probably in the glenshane pass takin pics of high foot snowfall B) I told you he was a snow magnet! B)
  18. Wouldnt say that JS - Yes tonight would have been a bonus but I think all eyes are fixated on Weds night- Thurs and Friday when the Northerly crashes in!
  19. Yes, precip just hit here had a look out def the sleety type here. Further inland should be interesting though when the heavier stuff hits.
  20. LoL Johnny you say that next 30minutes we will probably get Thundersnow. 2 for 1
  21. Can't believe lookin at precip netweather charts how quickly the mild sector has caught up - Nearly into Isle of man with sleet and through the spine of the country Not lookin to good
  22. Had a heavy hail shower again left a covering but noticed the wind has picked up quite a lot here on the coast. Bad news. I would expect sleet for here but places down South to get quite a bit with places up north Like Ballyclare, Antrim, Ballymena and mid ulster generally could fair well. 10inches most likely for Ronan tho he seems to be a snow magnet :o
  23. Had a few light hail showers on east coast. All eyes to tonight, I would say will start out as snow but turn readily to sleet on the coast. A few miles inland should see a good covering. Good to see some of the southern contingent get a few cm. The rest of the week should be interesting with frequent snow showers on Thursday- Friday
  24. Yes, maybe for once we might get lucky. Lets hope so
  25. Yea it was bone dry here as well couldnt believe it 12 miles up the road it was winter paradise. I think you guys further inland could do better for lying snow as being on the coast I don't think it will settle. Anyway with the met-office warnings chopping and changing every 5minutes they have taken us off a watch for tomorrow but this will probably change again later. Lookin forward to the next few days though, Ronan will probably end up with 2 foot of snow as he usually gets lucky
