I'm a fan of The Old Windmill in South Hanningfield, I have missed my lunches there so much! Can't wait to go back (I'm still staying home).
Watching those storms over North Wales is making me quite jealous. I sometimes go to a music festival in Portmeirion and what I would give to watch a storm over the bay there. It would be stunning.
My nearest weather station topped at 35.4 today, and now some lovely looking clouds have come over, wind has picked up enough to knock over my parasol.
Oh what I would give for a lovely storm right now.
Oh this is lovely! Got to just over 25 degrees here in SWF before a bit of hail, and now on and off light showers and some lovely rumblings.
Great petrichor!
Not much sleep was had last night! As others have said it definitely sounds worse this weekend and I've not even had much rain at all here yet in South Woodham.
Well I'm not letting my ex drive our son back to uni in Kent tomorrow (we are in Essex and he came home for the weekend). My son can watch his Monday morning lecture online anyway, they can go back in the afternoon.
I photographed a wedding in Harlow yesterday, on the way there many roads were half flooded... on the way back home many were fully flooded! Took me twice as long as it should've to get home. That was not a fun drive home.
If only Google maps knew about flooded roads!
Perfect timing, off to the Christmas tree farm this morning to choose my tree. The rest of the week would've been perfect but I was too busy.
Best take my wellies.
Already bored of this mild.
