I already imaging my disappointment over the next couple of days when the snow risk disappears. It always happens here, I'm very unlucky. So far though, it's quite exciting seeing a Snow warning from the MetO. We shall wait and see but I'm not expecting much.

About 8 Deg C here, strong winds, heavy rain
I just opened my window and nearly went out with it.

I think there may be a problem with NW radar unless its me, when I login into the radar and the full map comes up its showing snow all around/over me, but when I do a postcode zoom there is absolutely nothing. Any advice/help please
Zoom in on postcode then use the backwards step and see if it goes to normal. Some times the zoomed in precip type screws up.

From what I can remeber we got frequent lightning here in Carmarthenshire from about 11 to 12:30. Few flashes now and again after that. but now I think it's all over.

Apparently According to my old man sleet falling the very south of carmarthenshire, towards Kidwelly, Ferryside and St.Ishmael early sometime around 18:00 to 19:90.

Thank you, sorry for the off-topic.
If the current high retrogresses west and north later next week and a reload of arctic air comes our way, I think the chances of early snowfall on low ground for Scotland come the second week of october could be quite high.On the GFS run now it's showing some snow for northen scotland area for the 11th october which is the second week of october.
Although some changes are likely by the next run it looks pretty interesting, I wonder if it will continue to show that weather...?
