    No snow for me so far this Autunm/winter season but im hopefull that that will change later this month. I last saw snow 11 months ago back in early Jan when i had about 3 inches.

    Alot of cloud during the day today but stayed dry,cold max temp 4.2c. Currently clear and calm with some frost,current temp 1.0c

    I prefer prolonged Easterly spells because for my location as there is always a better chance of snow with showers coming in off the Irish sea. For me Northerly cold spells usually mean dry conditions,not always but alot of the time.

    I think a cold Dec in store, i will go for around a degree below average at 4.0c

    A cold frosty night last night with some freezing fog and severe frost. Min temp was -1.4c (coldest nov temp at my location since the cold snap in nov 2005). Currently still frosty with fog,current temp -0.2c B)

    If it stays clear where you stormforce you should see -5c or -6c i would imagine As for me i might see -2c,not bad for my location in late Nov,currently 0.7c here

    Sharp frost this morning,lowest temp last night was 0.3c (coldest so far this month). A cold crisp day with plenty of clear skies,although it got rather cloudy for a while during the evening. Max temp today 3.6c (coldest day so far this season). Currently mostly clear again,some frost. Current temp 1.7c

    Winter hardly started at all the last 2 "winters" Seriously though, its always been Dec 1st for me,although i often think of the 2nd half of Nov as kind of early winter

    Had some frost this morning with last nights min getting down to 1.8c,a lovely sunny morning. It clouded up later in the day but remained dry. Currently cloudy, current temp 7.1c (which is also todays max,so far)

    A dry and cloudy day here with little wind. Colder then the last few days, max temp 8.1c ,currently 6.5c

    MY min last night was 9.4. My max today of 11.2c was only about 2hrs ago. The Temps the last few days have certainly been boring. But heres to next week hopefully. :lol:

    Mostly dry today with some bright spells,but some light rain after dark,fairly windy today aswell although the wind is just a breeze now. Mild,max temp 11.2c.currently 10.2c

    How does it affect the BI if the pv is near NE Siberia? I presume its better to have it there then near Greenland for a chance of polar air?

    I dont think to get an hoar frost the temp has to be below 0c,ive seen hoar frosts when the temp was 1 or 2 degrees

    I think an hoar frost is that really kind of thick frost you can get on the grass etc and i suppose on trees too,i think you get hoar frosts when the humidity is fairly high and of course if its cold enough for a frost. Like how much frost you get can often depend on how much humidity is in the air,if the humidity is low and the temp was -2c for example you might not get as much frost,if just say the temp was 0c but the humidity in the air was alot higher.

    I just want to forget ive seen that forecast I would love to say imo that its probably very wrong,but i cant cos the way our winters have been going i would not bet againest it either
