    So as the first storm sadly dies off, we have got a spectacular convective cloudscape in its wake... But then I looked to the other side... And we’ve got another storm kicking off over the Buckley area!! ?️

    Through the milky haze, I see a tower going up! Very hot in the sun now... But still a lot of grey crud floating about.

    The sun is now starting to really burn through the cloud here now! Milky blue skies! ... Oh boy is it hot! ?️

    Still grey here in North East Wales... But getting brighter... In fact the is occasionally breaking through! Very sultry though. ... We just need the sun to fully burn through this grey crud, and start to cook the place, then I think we could well be game on. ?️

    Morning all Just had chance to have a quick butchers at the Cape and LI charts, and i have to say that they don't look too shabby, for today and tomorrow! Sorry I haven't got chance to post all of them, so I've just cherry picked two charts... One for this afternoon, and one for tomorrow, both from the GFS 00z run. Usual health warnings apply, but as always, good luck to everyone on this, and lets hope that today is another good day of storms for all of us. ?️ I'll try and update, as and when time allows, as I'm orf to work now. *pulls boots on and heads off out*

    Well, that was a pleasant little storm. Not a patch on what we used to get here in the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s, but I ain’t complaining... All thunderstorms are welcome to me. ... I wonder if it’ll kick off again this evening?

    Just popped out to let the dog have a run around the garden, and the sky over towards Wrexham is now going very dark! A lot of good grumblings of thunder as well! Steady as she goes, but it’s starting to look and sound quite positive. ?️
