Try an author = Brian Cosgrove, he mainly writes books for flying and is a standard text if your aiming for a Glider/Hang glider/Micro-lite licence. he's done quite a few books so just choose the one that suits you, and he has the simple and technical explanations in most of his books. or try this site www.ukweathershop.co.uk Happy learning

Just to add to the yes it definitely can camp. Driving from Halsted to Sudbury to see friends in march 1997 or 98 and a heavy snow shower had been going for about 3/4 hr driving along and the headlights were getting covered with snow, stopped, got out cleaned one head light off, moved to the curb side to clean the other, at that point a bolt of lighting hit the tree in the filed next to me, next i remember was picking my self up out of the snow feeling very stiff and aching, but the one thing i do remember is not hearing the bang? i was told i had been side struck, it turns out that snow is very conductive.

More mucking about. TE when you have done the PP file, in the file pull down you should see a save as option, in there you can chose a whole load of file formats. And after all this it looks like we still wont get any snow.

Have found a second abbreviation definition for Lenticular. Ac Lent = Alto-Cumulus Lenticularis Which is correct?
