You'll like this one guys.... I have made a Javascript that displays the past 5 years snow cover from Autumn onwards in a grid side by side: http://www.kitchenappliancesforum.co.uk/Script.html You will need to zoom out until you can see FIVE maps side by side otherwise it wont make much sense.
I'm not entirely sure the National Ice Centers website is working correctly at the moment tbh Yesterday data looks remarkably similar to the day before its, and even now when you click on "Latest" link for europe you get the 26th september come up!
