    Look at the radar.. it shows you where the rain/ snow is Alternatively look up at the sky.

    Don;t think its worth it... I think it does have a slightly higher refresh rate though (5 mins)

    There's a massive bit of snow to the north west of east anglia the GFS ppn charts didnt pick up on

    There's probabbly a rough grid you can't see with temps and due points and because its just a rough estimate the shape of this grid is probabbly square... so it just works out if the precipitation is in a grid that has right dew points for snow/ sleet etc...
