  1. Wow - pretty good forecasting through the week. Nice line of storms but one thing.... Pictures and video please!!!
  2. No! In fact I really hope this format stays in to the Winter (perhaps unless it will get exceptionally busy for bigger events). I think this is a very friendly regional and a perfect combination.
  3. Good luck all! Looks like here came pretty close to something in the end with a storm trundling just east of Truro a couple of hours ago! Cold Front will pass by in the next couple of hours but doubt anything will form this close to the front now. However some instability off the Atlantic will reach west Cornwall tomorrow so a low chance of something late on Saturday.
  4. Wow just been in the cinema but looks like Falmouth came pretty close to a storm!!! Has rained but don't think anything would have been heard here but maybe a few distant flashes were possible. Still warm and close. The cold front is still out west by the looks of it though radar looks pretty boring again now so perhaps unlikely to be any more storms down here.
  5. The amount of you relying on percentages, statistics, symbols and lower resolution model data is unhealthy!!! Go and enjoy the warmth outside and the weather will do what it wants. You have no control! I'm off to watch 22 Jump Street tonight, really is little point watching the charts now!
  6. From a purely selfish point of view, any shifts of the main front East are good for here as it may mean thundery showers here in Cornwall with some instability brusing us from the Atlantic.
  7. Yet again whilst you lot have suffered, not been too bad a day in Cornwall with sunny spells, the odd shower and a pleasant, fine clear and sunny end to the day. Shame here has a 0% storm chance this weekend though!
  8. That will be the day.... Haha. Met Office forecasts downgrading to just light showers now. Could actually be a dry day here now whilst the front moves East. Looks similar to a couple of events over the last couple of years like the 28th June 2012 where explosive storms erupted over the Midlands. But still quite a bit of time for change yet.
  9. Haha how tempting... Whats the chances by Saturday though that the front will actually be further East, lying over Lincolnshire etc! Indeed, as I have just mentioned above.
  10. Looks fantastic for the Midlands. Met Office even got thunder symbols down here in Cornwall for Saturday but just cant see where the potential is for myself over here. GFS suggests any instability to be to the West of us or well to the East.
  11. Way to early for this level of excitement. No way it will look like this by the weekend. Probably very warm but expect significant downgrades. Ive seen much better plumes than this before. Too much potential for this one to shift East.
  12. Mainly cloudy here today but some warm sunshine especially around early afternoon. Thank god the Falmouth Red Arrows display was yesterday!
  13. And it will be Friday the 13th this year too... Haha.
  14. Looks like many of you suffered cloud today. Meanwhile apart from a cloudy spell between about 11am-1pm it was wall to wall sunshine again here today and very warm. Perfect for the Falmouth Red Arrows display today! Absolutely incredible day! https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19903-falmouth-red-arrows-display/ https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19902-/ https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19901-/ https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19900-/ https://forum.netweather.tv/gallery/image/19899-/
  15. What's everyone complaining about. Another fine, warm and sunny day here in west Cornwall albeit with more high cloud. Lol. Seriously, massive differences between Cornwall and the rest of England these last 2 days but cloudier here from now on too.
  16. Unlike the rest of you, a GLORIOUS day here, spending the day on the Lizard. Wall to wall hot sunshine with just a little high cloud keeping at bay.
