YAY! light snow here and hopeful it'll give the kids a lovely surprise to wake up to (when they go to sleep that is!) Oh we all SOOO excited here! Will report back from sunny south manchester in the morning.

Snow & Wintry Precipitation Reports - Early Feb

We had snoooowww!!!@! central manchester was covered this morning... picked myself up off the floor at last, having been for a jolly quick skidaddle with the we'uns and even managed t make a tiny snowman, before it melted. None since about 12 noon but boy, what a wonderful thing to have them all waking me up shouting their heads off this morning. (..well, ok, mixed feelings about that bit. It was about half six... ) -
well, my son got up this morning like a rocket, when I said it was snowing...oh, come to think of it, so did when I remembered the forecast...city centre of manc and we're seeing a few flakes at the mo, just hope the winds blow a bit fat cloudful our way off the penines...otherwise its me and my boy off to somewhere east for a few hours...

hello, this is my first post (I'm a bit daft with lack of sleep so go easy on me eh?!) but...this weather forecast shows snow (pleeeeeeze) in manchester on wed/thur and bbc says it will be miles warmer and dry too... OH NOOOOOOOOO! When the devil is manchester goiing to get a flake or tow? I'm worse than my kids for this stuff and am absolutely desperate to see some snow!! Soon, or I may move to aberdeen! :smiliz39:
