  1. I feel your pain Steve. I use to live off of Eagles Road in Greenhithe. I remember a few occasions leaving the house to no snow & then as soon as I went up past Bluewater to Stone... bam... a few cm's! So frustrating At least now I have some elevation & get a covering Wrotham on the cards?
  2. Keeping my fingers crossed for here in NW Kent. Got some elevation so poss a chance of a covering. What do you think Steve?
  3. Cheers Steve, some great insight there. For us in the SE do you think there's any chance of some sort of streamer setting up going by the current output a la Feb 2009? Some good accumulations here in NW Kent from a streamer off the Thames thanks
  4. I'm hopeful for enough here to just not be able to drive out of my road & therefore into work. I live at the bottom of a hill so shouldn't take too much. Any guesses of how much for NW Kent?
  5. Another tale of hope out at 10 days away soon disappears! It seems a proper winter in this country is a thing of the past. I think we need to face up to the fact we simply don't get the winters we have grown up with anymore.
  6. Anyone noticed what's heading out of north France towards the SE?
  7. The intense rain in the South East has halted & is now fizzling out. Not what my garden wanted. Band of storms in the channel may push up, but I fear they'll die out over land too
  8. Disappointing. Storm has fizzled out as it's moved north. Just moderate rain here. Zzzzz
  9. Steve, I find that hilarious..... I did exactly the same drive as you. Out of London, down the A2 & through towards Meopham. The snow up towards Culverstone compared to here in Greenhithe is very frustrating. Do we have any hope of anything here overnight do you think? Chris
  10. I know!! Location here is useless because of height & the Thames! Was up at west kingsdown earlier & such a difference! Cheers though Steve.... Fingers crossed
  11. Apologies for not coming back to you last night Steve. Big thaw here in Greenhithe. Need those temps to drop later. How do you raster our chances for tomorrow morning down here in Greenhithe? Thanks
  12. Steve, how do you rate our chances for snowfall overnight for us here in DA9?
  13. Haha,,, is that your expert opinion? 4.8cm would be nice I think
  14. Same here in Mayfair. Loud clap of thunder, but no heavy clouds....baffling
  15. Fingers crossed for us by the river Dallas. Radar is looking promising out along the estuary
