I feel your pain Steve. I use to live off of Eagles Road in Greenhithe. I remember a few occasions leaving the house to no snow & then as soon as I went up past Bluewater to Stone... bam... a few cm's! So frustrating At least now I have some elevation & get a covering Wrotham on the cards?

Keeping my fingers crossed for here in NW Kent. Got some elevation so poss a chance of a covering. What do you think Steve?

I'm hopeful for enough here to just not be able to drive out of my road & therefore into work. I live at the bottom of a hill so shouldn't take too much. Any guesses of how much for NW Kent?

Another tale of hope out at 10 days away soon disappears! It seems a proper winter in this country is a thing of the past. I think we need to face up to the fact we simply don't get the winters we have grown up with anymore. -

The intense rain in the South East has halted & is now fizzling out. Not what my garden wanted. Band of storms in the channel may push up, but I fear they'll die out over land too -

Best of luck! Pitching is gonna be essential -
Disappointing. Storm has fizzled out as it's moved north. Just moderate rain here. Zzzzz

Steve, I find that hilarious..... I did exactly the same drive as you. Out of London, down the A2 & through towards Meopham. The snow up towards Culverstone compared to here in Greenhithe is very frustrating. Do we have any hope of anything here overnight do you think? Chris
