    I’m looking at the met office rainfall radar for the last six hours since 4am and I’m amazed how the worst of the rain avoids Edinburgh and then it reinvigorates once past Edinburgh , it seems to happen regularly

    I’m intrigued with the development of the downpours we’re having in Edinburgh this aft , they seem to develop really late , also the storms in August developed right over Edinburgh / forth and then headed north ,

    Non event on the north side of Edinburgh. A wee bit of slush on top of car roof and that's it. Was expecting a bit more than that . South side of Edinburgh is a different story altogether probably

    thanks for that. glasgow was sleet. headed out og glasgow started snowing so by time we got to harthill it was very heavy snow and traffic starting to crawl. then back to sleet in edinburgh
