  1. Well this is a complete bust, it's been this way pretty much all winter so far stretching back to 2010
  2. Yep :(, wintry showers mentioned this morning! High temps too, not impressed another poor form by the models and more known forecasters re-snow and cold!
  3. I live about 300ft+ now with upper parts about 500-600ft and we've had some very hard frosts
  4. I've already seen flurries and hard frosts..... I've seen flurries every year and the odd hard frost. Snow laying on the ground however making everything white? Not since 2010
  5. National said..... Showers into the south east, may be a bit wintry... A BIT?
  6. Thank you, do you have the twitter details of the people I should follow? ( My last post on this )
  7. Outdated? 31st January 2018 Last updated at 21:08 - Which is only 3 hours old! - So they must be looking at today's models surely?
  8. The week ahead was pretty rubbish actually, still nothing about the high over Russia, it's all about the Azores. Just could be some rain with sleet and snow at times, interspersed with drier interludes. Also nothing about the real cold that people have been going on about with the models. It just seemed a North West winter experience so far
  9. Pretty much what the latest Weather Ahead said on the BBC, Didn't think the Russian high was going to win out and it's back to the NW air stream Haven't seen any snow on the ground since 2010!
  10. Perhaps yeh, it was only yesterdays and going on recent data at the time..
  11. The BBC Weather Ahead has said that the High Pressure to our north east doesn't look to be the player and the Azores High will win out, winds from our North West
  12. We'd actually have to look out the window for a more reliable forecast?
  13. More often than not we never get a nailed easterly, one that we go straight into it! There's nearly always model changes downgrades and upgrades, then about a week to two week later it arrives
  14. Herne Bay/Whitstable/Canterbury - No Snow I drove south from Canterbury towards Sellindge and Hythe and the hills have had about 1-2cm, plus it's freezing down this way
  15. How depressing I live not far off 600ft and not a single snow flake, yet north kent ON THE BLOODY COAST and it was snowing heavy
  16. Hey all I moved house last year and now living towards Hythe... Currently at 232ft! - 5 mins drive up the road and it's about 620ft, this is in south east kent Wonder if i'll get snowfall
  17. Can someone let me know when Climate change is supposed to happen, because I'm still waiting for hot summers becoming a common place ( 2003 ). One of the worst summers I can remember so far
