  1. Beach walk and fish and chip lunch planned today, so of course, it's now sleeting with big ol' flakes.
  2. @jy thanks for the sticky. Tried to DM you, but it said you can't receive messages. Try this map link. Two fields south of Warren's lane on the Avon Valley path. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@51.0082994,-1.7519495,16z Cheers
  3. @jy just saw your Red Kite over the fields on the way to Downton. It might be worth stopping off on your way back from the Yew Tree, if you're down this way.
  4. They seem to have taken a liking to the fish farm, between Downton and Charlton; but there's no guarantee you'll see them. Will keep you posted.
  5. I spent 5 hours on Saturday having fun with a blocked pipe on our Septic Tank. So don't worry. There's always someone worse off.
  6. Hello jy. There is one round here. We see it once, or twice a week. Here it is, over the garden in February. Sometimes there's a pair of them, so hopefully they'll get established. If you head up the A34, you'll see them around Newbury. There are loads up by the office, near Stokenchurch. They buzz the windows, which is impressive to see.
  7. Cold and wet. Not interested. I posted 'Everybody loves the Sunshine' by Roy Ayers in the song thread. Great tune, but mostly as a plea for sanity.
  8. It passed over here at 5:30ish delivering, from what I could make out, nothing. However, when I walked 2k South to Downton a bit later, there were flakes on the path in the water meadows. Not many, but they were there.
  9. Icicles on the brewshed... ... will be the name of my difficult 2nd album.
  10. It does look like the Radar is on the wind up between me and thee. Nothing doing here at the moment.
  11. Another couple of inches here. Filled in all the gaps nicely. Top stuff.
  12. Yep, we're getting texts from Hedge End, Chandler's Ford and Netley. All snow. All good.
  13. The HIRLAM had that heavy bit in the channel intensifying to the North, as it moves West. Possibly not early enough for here, but good for those further West.
  14. Pedant. Radar wise, don't worry about anything that looks like it's fading west of Winchester. The station is FUBAR, so it always does that.
