You're a cruel man jy. I'm glad your Mrs got home OK last night. I had visions of me setting off across the fields to find her. Edit - Proper flakes coming down now. Bigger than yesterday. -
Snowing lightly now. You know... the type of snow that we were all getting excited about on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.

The daily 3 mile walk to Downton took much longer today. We just had to do it though, as we drank all the beer last night. The drifting down by the river was spectacular. Working today, so sledging will have to wait until tomorrow.

Snow turned to big fat flakes 45 mins ago, which looked great but felt ominous. Freezing rain is now tinkling away on the Velux upstairs. Bonkers day of weather. Still love it.

Thanks for the concern @Dormouse We made it back The pub on the right was shut yesterday, due to frozen pipes. Hopefully they'll get their act together in time for this evening's walk.

We're in the heavier bit on the radar and it's coming down nicely. Just been out and it's crunchy under foot. Lovely stuff.
