All those now with the breeze, please blow it towards EA, its like a furnace out here, still 34c now and feels horrendous inside and outside is just instant death!!! Yesterday evening clouds arrived and at least everywhere had shade, no such luck yet tonight, gonna be worse, much worse than last night.
Awful, isn't it?

That comment was saddening to see. Everyone has their different opinions in life and those thoughts are not to be judged, I know plenty of very educated outside thinkers that believe that climate change is just a natural worldly cycle and to a degree I do agree, but I also know people who think climate change is definitely happening and that events could be fuelled by it and to a degree I agree as well. Just because it’s your thoughts does not mean that you can mock others.
There comes a point when denying the overwhelming evidence becomes mere dogma. This happened in terms of climate around 10 years ago.

It is. The wind that’s going with the heat is the most strange thing for us to experience in the UK.
Yes, I now went out and it's like pointing a hot air hand dryer at yourself.

Hope fire brigade get controll of them. Wild fires in London, not good. There's two in Shirley Croydon too.
Several houses destroyed near Dartford, apparently, and fire spreading.

Probably the case. Ignoring the fact that it's us taxpayers who fund it. But hey ho!
One of these days we might get a subscription to Doppler radar...

it’s astonishing if we break the record before noon - delay that front by four hours and surely we could have reached 43c in the Home Counties/ e anglia
When is the front due for this area?

I somehow dosed off around midnight and woke up at 4am. Couldn't believe how warm it still felt.
Similar, but I think I had a mild cast of heat exhaustion.

Think I woke up with heat exhaustion this morning, feel much better now, but when I first woke, had a headache and felt like throwing up. Drunk quite a bit of water since then, but I think I'm gonna be fighting all day to stay on the right side of things now.
I also think I experienced some heat exhaustion - tried seeing whether I could manage without the fan, but fell asleep and woke up feeling warm but not sweating. Turned the fan back on and drank a load of water, but, owing to disability, couldn't get up to do much else.

Dropped to a minimum of 18.8C overnight, though our bungalow stayed at 27.5 internally.

23.7C still.

Getting warmer again here!
