No need to stop posting, just realise that you have a very high heat threshold.

Why is it silly ? I think it is just a hot summers day.
And I think you're just trying to draw attention to yourself.

Just walked down the road in t shirt and shorts. Didn't feel cold at all. Lovely and warm. If this is 'extreme' i will eat my pants.
It is extreme, whether you think so or not.

Yep, even locations such as Huntingdon (Will need to check the Monks Wood site later) probably got close to 38c today. I could literally see the mid level cloud over this part of the world driving home from work and the convection was deep enough to develop showers (The rain didn’t reach the ground mind you).
Norfolk seems to have fallen 0.2C short of it's highest-ever temperature by day.

Whilst still very hot and the second highest recorded temperature. I can’t help but feel a little underwhelmed by how today as panned out. Wittering’s reading of 36.1c is the highest so far and capped by mid level cloud that has developed during the middle of the afternoon .
Not the best of luck in this part of Cambridgeshire, the highest reading from 2019 also was lower due to mid level cloud and an afternoon thunderstorm.
Santon Downham hit 38.1C.

I noticed how Cromer and Sheringham in Norfolk were both mid-20s all day, sounds like bliss!
Doubt it, Nick - not much parking there in average weather!
