  1. Amazing reports but can anyone tell me if East Berks area will see more than the panzy flurry we had about half an hour ago??
  2. Come to Slough, no snow here, just a light flurry which has gone and left clear skies! Whilst everywhere else gets a pasting!
  3. Flurry has gone, sky now clear, yet parts of London have blizzard like weather......swizz for us here! It is a pocket area of clear sky, what a joke! LOL
  4. Cloud has finally moved in and I have a light flurry going on here......I hope it gets a lot heavier, wanna wipe out!
  5. Oh it sounds like it is getting closer, being clear here, it would appear that it's very much a case of 'calm before the storm'
  6. For you guys who remember 1991, imagine how I feel? I can't really remember it, but I do remember a lot lying of snow one year. So this will be my first major snow event, if I we get it here, on that note here is hoping we will get something significant around here!!
  7. LOL you're telling me, still clear skies here yet in London, they have snow, I really hope it comes here, getting a bit impatient now!! I hear of 'blizzard like' conditions in Southern parts of London and I get all excited under my clear skies
  8. Pah and yet here just outside of West London it is clear!!! I WANT SNOW, I've been getting really excited about the prospect of a bit of snow with all these warnings from the meto and S&SW Londoners! I know one area can be clear and the other cloudy but this just takes the buscuit. Anyone know what we can expect here in the East Berkshire area? Cheers
  9. Hi all, Well here in East Berkshire it is still clear, no clouds let alone snow! Pah, typical, places around have snow and I can still see the poxy moon!
  10. Well to be honest considering we have had an official 29c in a few places. I'm sure that the roof would cause radiation of more than 1c. Therefore, the screen must have something under it to reduce the effect. I really can not see a temp being only 1c higher from being on a roof. Based on that I feel 30c is official. I would then also think the screen is protected to a fair degree (pardon the pun) to accept 30c. I'm sure walking the streets of London felt like and was 30c.
  11. Well LWC has hit 30.1c so there you go. I knew people would then - after gaining 30c - go on about it being official or not! Sorry but if it is like that then most readings are false as all cities and towns are warmer due to the 'heat island.' Maybe out in the fileds you will get the real temp! You may walk down the road and have a spot of 30c then a spot of 28c. So 30c has been reached. Central London wil have an air temp of 30c as it is busy, built up etc. All towns and citites are the same but maybe less extreme as say London. Even so we have had a 30c!
  12. Well today it was 20c by 8am and 23c by 9am down here. I remember days last year and the year before were it was 24c by 9am and the MAX on those days rose over 30c. So I live in hope! Smashing day so far though! :o :o
  13. The hottest day of the year will be 27th November 2007 at 90f odd. Oh that is because I will be in Goa...just as well though. I reckon 27c on Sunday.
  14. Yeah I heard Windsor and Maidenhead are at risk. Although I think they may actually escape any flooding!
  15. I heard someone say it will get warm by the end of July! Well some good jokes going about
