  2. Cardiff at the moment looking dark up towards my area, which it is very dark in Cardiff North. Looks a bit of a mess because that area of the city is a construction site at the moment.
  3. http://www.raintoday.co.uk/ seems to be spirlaling round like a hurricane

  7. front intensifing (sorry about that spelling) in the SW moving towards Cardiff from Weston. Will that have some lightning?
  8. Im privlaged to have American parents who cant live without airconditioning lol, my weather station reporting a temperture of 22.9c at 23:38 here in the North of Cardiff about 12miles inland. Today the temperture soared to 29.4c the hottest since the heat waves in 2006. Storms arriving in the SW and South Wales over night should be an interesting day ahead with tempertures like this. Perfect set up.
  9. Any storms heading towards Cardiff area? I can see one towards Swansea?
  10. The temputures are widely above 20c in Wales already its 23.2c at the moment in heavy shade, the chance of thunderstorms developing are high.
  11. Intense downpour cell developing over South Wales.
  12. Intense area of rain on the 16:30 met office radar around south wales seems to be growing.
  13. You might be trenched good luck. Still dark up in the north of the city.

  17. Just because your anti tory. Im just happy the party my parents work under has done well thats all. No Offense if you support labour, then cherio! Anyway i realy dont want to cause a political debate on here tonight, ive had enough of them with several people, ummm Its gone fairly mild here now its 13c at 23:40 not bad considering it didn't reach 10c on Saturday at all.
  18. Still fairly cool in Wales today, weather conditions alot beter though. Note: Congratulations to the Conservertive Party for their biggest win in Wales in almost 100years.
  19. Yesterday there was thunderstorms and rain all day long, I was in the car at 1pm in the afternoon and up here towards the valleys it was only 7.5c, the day went on the temputure didn't change, infact the weather got worse, the rain intensified, there was a 20mph speed limit enforced on the M4 in North Cardiff and the A470 between Cardiff North and Pontypridd turned into a river and firecrews were sent down the stretch of highway to pump out water, lots of other main A roads connectiong the city of Cardiff with the S.WALES VALLEYs were also shut. The temputure droped to 4.9c in the night at my home weather station, its only 9.1c now at 12:10pm on the 7th of June. BBC Wales news is reporting that flooding has occured in some Cardiff North suburbs and area in Pontypridd, 100people have been evacuated in the Pontypridd area and in some houses the water was up to the cealing. SO,,,,,,,,,,,,,! here we go again another flood filled summer to add to the rest of them!
  20. hasnt even reached 60f here  lol my first guess for first 60 of the year for cardiff is today
  21. Nice winter i recon. I had snow in all 3 months and my god Febuary, we had 9days of consective snow on the hills of south wales and toke a fair time to melt too, for the city of Cardiff though they had a good day where 5inches fell and then 3inches another day but nothing like what we had just above the M4, max recorded depth of 14inches of snow by the 8th after snow then some melt, then snow and so on every day then that didnt melt for another 6days, recorded a min of -9.8c and a min max of -3.1c. Its the most snow i ve seen in the United Kingdom, i ve seen ALOT more though in my time living in the USA though.
  22. In 2006 we thought we were going to have more summers like this and we strugled to sleep so after a week of the hot we had airconditioning installed in my house throughout, we havent used it since
