extremely heavy snow in Cardiff at the moment adding to the already 5inches of snow on the ground.

My school in Cardiff has been closed since 12pm yesterday lol. We all went home and told to stay home tommorow morning.

Heavy snow in North Cardiff again at 200meters. On top of the 8inches of snow already. Might get 10-11 inches with heavy showers today. Still well be below.

Snow in Cardiff, Wales. Been snowing since 7pm very heavy indeed. No sign of stopping. 8inches of snow now. I dont understand why media arent reporting from Wales there tons of snow. Rush hour will be deadly tommorow as all the valleys and people from the suburbs of Cardiff attempt to get down the A470 and M4 into Central Cardiff and Cardiff Bay business districts.

Drove down the M4 in the snow between Cardiff North and Newport. Pretty good covering and the road was trecherous. My fields and court yard are coverd in about 4cm already at 210meters. Very cold at the moment colder than i thought it be - temputure -5.7c and dewpoint -8c

some fair amout of snow reports coming from Cardiff, Bristol and the rest of South Wales and West England.Even though band of rain which made Ireland and West Wales milder is aproaching the temputure with light snow grains is still falling. Wonder if we in for a surprise snow fall across Wales. It happend in Febuary 9th 2007 when Cardiff had a futher 5inches ontop of the snow it had on the 8th and i can remember BBC Wales and the MetOffice saying sorry on the news for unwarned snowfall.

I am high up by here, you know Pentyrch area its much more rural and colder. Snow risk is far greater just north of the city. Its more inland too. We had about 4inches of snow in April 08 lasted about 7hours after fall. And we had snow before that too. Like for instance on my own weather station it was -6.1c last night in Cardiff the offical min was -3c. Its currently -0.6c.

Hey! from the eco team at my high school of 1400students we are a bunch of teenagers from Cardiff-Wales, U.K. We have started clearing a way an old garden which is fallen into a mess shall we say we want advice on what we can put in a small garden in an school, we want to get the green flag we are currently on the silver. We have a small budget but the school is hosting a non school uniform day to raise money. We also want to reduce litter. Could you give us some ideas to say in assembly to reduce rubbish and what plants and items we can put in our eco garden. We want to attract alot of birds and butterflys as butterflys on the decline we want to bring them back to life at our school. theres one tree in my front yard which is changing couler, i live by a national forest just north of Cardiff on Caerphilly mountain so far all green. It was stunning here last year.

i just found out i am have to Ontario from the 15th of december to the 13th of January, staying with family, should see some good snow there
